Update time! So I went to Pints with the BF a few weeks ago. We were craving the Pot Roast Nachos and decided instead of just talking about how awesome they were, we would just go and get some. We got there and the bar and room area were packed. Not sure where to sit, we stood for a few minutes until one of the waitresses mentioned the patio. So we wandered back to the patio and damn, I totally did not realize it was that big and enclosed. Wonderful. We both got the AngryOrchard cider ($4) and it's so much better than when we get the bottles. We split a large order of nachos, and I got a cup of chicken tortilla soup. It was super delicious. Our waitress was nice and attentive but not pushy, since we were relaxing and enjoying our second glass of cider. We'll back be, sooner rather than later this time.
Review Source:I was in town visiting for a few days and this place was recommended via Yelp as fun sports bar. The one thing I wasn't aware of the is that it's small and the only sports bar for a few miles, so there are many visitors to this establishment, especially on a game night (We were there during a Bulls and Blackhawks game showings. The place was packed and doesn't really have extra space around that allows for you to have a drink or mingle. You have to race for an open seat at the bar or a table. We did and it was so dirty from a couple of messy kids that left stuff both table top and all around underneath.
The service was reasonable, beers were delivered quick and cold. We order some appetizers, ones also recommended on Yelp. The Nachos are piled with a pulled pork that seems to have been stewing in a bbq sauce, so they were a bit too sweet. We also had the sweet potato fries, which were served cold and had a side of syrup for dipping. Not that tasty. the final were the buffalo wing. The wings were typical, but did get hot
I am upgrading Pints to 5 stars because after comparing it to the other pubs in town, it is clearly the best. Â They have great food, a stellar beer selection, great atmosphere and solid friendly service. Â Not sure what else you could ask for. Â I frequent Pints all the time for drinks and actually for casual businesses lunches in Elmhurst. Â I've been there with my buddies for beers and my family for lunch. Â It's become my GO TO pub in Elmhurst. Â Keep it up Pints!
