Flattop Pizza & Pool

Went there for Lunch the other day, but their lunch special would have taken longer to cook than my lunch break allowed.  I ordered an appetizer instead, since they told me it would only take 10 to 15 minutes to cook.  It took 30 so I had to pack it to go.  Besides the slow service though, my food was SUPER yummy.  I can forgive a new place's slow service for that, because they are still working out the kinks.  I want to go back on a day I have more time to sit down to eat and enjoy some pool.  I also want to try their ice cream sandwich and bring a friend that will be brave enough to try the beer float.

We tried this place out last night for dinner.  They have a good beer selection, as one would expect from a Humpy's establishment, and the pepperoni rolls were delicious.  The pizza, however, is not great and is absolutely not New York-style, which is how it's being advertised.  The crust is similar to cardboard, in both texture and (lack of) flavor, and is structurally weak enough that you need to eat your first few bites with a knife and fork.

I'll probably go back for beer and snacks, but it won't be making it into my regular dinner rotation.  

Other points: the service is fast and friendly; the chairs are moderately uncomfortable; the large open doors are good if you like fresh air, but bad if you're trying to escape mosquitoes.

I heard that they make in house the best ice cream sammich. So screw the beer and pizza... I want dessert with my flattop ale! Sadly the first night the kitchen was already closed... Oh well bartender... Raspberry tonic please and made me a stiff drink... Off to play pool I go... And not very good but I plays anyways with my friends until closing... Met Pete the manager, he's down with the Spurs and likes country music... I taught my friend how to two step around the bar...yah sadly this Alaskan has gone country on yah.
Friday night... My friend and I had one mission and one mission only Ice Cream Sammy! We ordered one that was just made and put into the freezer which was fine it tasted sinfully delicious.
Juke box and pool
Bathrooms shared with SubZero no bueno if your girls lol... Only two stalls up in there.
May be a good place for sports watching, they have several flat screens.
