Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Great steaks!  Great service!  Great views of Manhattan.

I can only review one thing here and that is the daily happy hour at the bar. So my preface is for that and that alone. I would like to try the rest of the menu just haven't done so yet.

Sometimes we pop into the movie theater here and then come to Fleming's for their happy hour special which is daily until 7pm (weekends included). It is only in the bar, which is small but just fine. The deal is you can get 5-6 cocktails for only $6 or a limited beer selection for $3 a beer. They also have a few select apps and a cheese & bacon burger with fries (or onion rings) for $6. The regular old martini is always done great and the bartenders don't mess around. The beer is usually a Sam Adams variety last time it was Blue Moon.

The burger is absolutely delicious and for 6 bucks for all you get it's a helluva deal. It's worth the trip out to Edgewater alone. They also give you homemade chips while sitting at the bar which are also delicious. I've never gotten the apps because I could care less when the burger is the same price. The place is nice inside and one day maybe I'll even venture to the dining room.

The service is always fantastic at the bar never had one complaint, the last bartender, I can't remember her name was fantastic. She made a couple move over one so I could sit next to the wife. She totally didn't have to do that, she also made one helluva martini, the wife had to drive home.

For a chain place in a strip mall I give them props for having such a tasty burger and great atmosphere.

I must admit that I am a fan of Flemings.  I would have given a 3.5 rating, just because of the pricey aspect.  I've been to Flemings a few times.  I've gone for dinner, a Mother's Day Brunch, and the Prime Rib Sunday.  I must say I was never disappointed.  

The first time I went to Flemings it was for a regular dinner.  The dinner was great, amazing views as everyone said.  It was even more amazing for us, as we had dessert because there was a thunderstorm.  It simply looked amazing from the restaurant over the NYC skyline.

The Mother's Day brunch was also fantastic.  It consisted of a few options, and had a set price.  They even offered specialty cocktails.  I enjoyed the brunch a great deal.  Since it was a holiday they even gave gift cards for $25 to be used at a later date to every mother.

The Sunday Prime Rib dinner is also fantastic.  I believe it's $39.00 a person and if you come in a larger party you can each get a different side, and share them family style.

The only negative about this restaurant is the price.  It is very pricey!  I have heard they have great happy hour deals, which I still have to partake in.  The other positive is that if you sign up for the email list you will get emails about their special promotions.  I remember once they had a month where you could bring a bottle of you own wine, and the waiter was telling me the last time I was there the Prime Rib Sunday was only going to be $29.00 during the month of August.
