Attention: Please
No Sandals, No Sneakers,
No distressed. No Ripped Jeans
No Muscle Shirts, No Doo Rag. After 8pm:
This is what the sign reads on the door to Mojitos as you enter. You don't want a bellicose to initiate here. The décor has a Caribbean feel altogether, then add a bartender with a heavy Spanish accent. They serve food here "Cuban cuisine" it says.  For what it is worth I had a Coors light it was $3.50 for some reason I felt like it was to expensive Ha! Hmm maybe not. Â
Watched some regulars, a couple to be exact argue about their relationship. It is always great to watch the misery of others while trying to get inebriated. At the same time wearing my sandals, sneakers, and distressed ripped jeans with a muscled doo rag, did I mention a bow-tie.
The other Melissa here described Mojitos well -- it's a convenient spot where we're guaranteed decent music, no pretension, and nice, stiff drinks. It's rare for me to walk into the place and not run into somebody I know, whether it's somebody I went to school with or a friend of my dad's. Could this be the Cuban version of "where everybody knows your name"? Perhaps.
Like the other reviewer, I have never partaken of the munchies at Mojitos, so no help there.
Oh, and for what it's worth, I have had the mojitos at Mojitos... let's just say, if you're planning to get your buzz on and not break the bank, they're a good way to go.
Ooh - make sure you bring cash, as they don't take cards... otherwise, you'll have to use the atm in the bar and pay the surcharge!
The place is decorated to the nines in Cuban... nice caribbean feel to it... lots of wood about the place, dark. Age 30+ crowd here, the bathroom sucks, only one stall. Â
but for my friends and I ... its very near and dear to us...
One of the bartenders is the owner and since we are sometimes the only (younger) ladies to pass by before a full nite out in NYC, we do some free pre- gaming there. Everyone there is super nice... I tend to know some of the crowd.
Even though there is no dj... the cds they have playing are pretty good... think salsa/hip hop. The drinks are cheap... a mai-tai (my fav drink) is about 6 bucks. The place is called Mojitos buttt I don't think I have ever had one there actually... hmmm  I guess I'll have to now... oh well next visit!
Oh and they serve food but I only go to drink!
