I have been eating at this Flemings since it opened. Â #16, I believe, at the time. Â I'm a regular at 567 and have dinner there (up til now) once or twice a month plus scheduled company and privately hosted dinners. Â I spend a lot of money. Â I will not eat there again because of the tone and behaviors set by the Operating Partner. Â I have known many of the staff for years and I had heard that HE (the new operating partner) was someone who could be rude to customers and employees. Â Well, I had a chance to experience it firsthand last week when I was asked to move my place setting and food (I was eating dinner at the bar) "down the bar" by the Operating Partner to accommodate someone who had just showed up and wanted to insert a chair where there was no room. Â It was insensitive; he did not understand or try to understand the dynamics at the bar and completely ruined my dinner experience. Â It's odd, with all the time I spent at Flemings, that in the year or so that he has been partner at El Segundo, this was our first encounter. Â I feel sorry for the employees at this location. Â The product(s) is good value. Â They provide a good service. Â Unfortunately, the management tone currently set at the top will have long term detrimental effects on the product delivery/service.
Review Source:This review is for their AMAZING happy hour!
This location is great for after work and large groups and has nice outdoor patio and fire pit.
I've been here at least a dozen times and its always excellent, both the food and service. The burger and carpaccio are my favorites. Particularly if you're a burger lover, this is one you don't want to miss! It's a nice slab of juicy meat, bacon, cheese, comes with a couple of fatty onion rings, and held together with a brioche bun.
The cocktails are well made too and they periodically change up the menu. The dirty martini is great and I like low cal cocktail options to offset the burger I get here :)
