I've been here twice now.
Is it loud? Yes, it's a sports bar.
Do they have mostly bar food? Yes, it's a sports bar.
Do they have lots of TVs? Yes, it's a sports bar.
Is it a good place to watch hockey? Yes, it's a sports bar.
Do they have some decent beers? Yes. And it's a sports bar.
Don't go here if you want a quiet sit down meal but go here if you want to have fun, watch sports and/or have a few drinks. So far I have had the steak on $5 wed. steak night, which was a bit salty for my taste and the green beans that I had with it were just so so. The wings however are quite good. My wife and I found them to be more mild than we expected. We ended up liking the Killers the best, but we do like very, very spicy food by Ohio standards. Oh and the curly Q fries are the best that I have had without a flour coating (gluten free friendly). They do seem very busy as they are a relatively new location. I hope that it gets a little less busy in the next few months.
One complaint, and a big one for me. They need better parking. I should not be driving around at 7:30 trying to find a space that isn't designated for another business. Hopefully this gets better over time.
Basically its Hooter's without the skimpy outfits. WIngs, beer, sports on TV, noise, etc.. Went on 40 cent wing night which I'm thinking was our biggest mistake. Wings were luke warm and UNBELIEVABLY greasy. I've eaten my fair share of wings in my life and these were by far the greasiest I have ever attempted to eat. I'm quite sure they anticipate a large influx of people (again, 40 cent night) so they make the wings ahead and try to reheat them or just serve them at room temp. Either way, the grease factor was over the top - soaked one napkin per wing trying to reduce the grease level. We enjoyed the atmosphere (loud and lots of tv's - its a wings and beer joint, thats to be expected), but the quality of the food was definitely sub par. Will try again when the wings aren't on special.
Review Source:We went there about 9:00 on a Sat. night and the 20-30 minute wait was expected. Â Noise level is much too high. Â I just can't stand TV's blaring and being forced to yell into the ear of the person next to me. Â The server had no idea what beers were on tap. Â We had seen they had OTR, but when we asked for it she replied, "What is OTR?" Â Finally we got our drinks and the food was ok, but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired.
