We rolled up into this place looking for food but it was after 11pm on a Saturday night and of course the kitchen was closed this place has patio bar area and a small what I think is a dance floor? We sat down outside in the patio and Jared the bartender quickly asked what we would like the drinks were either really strong or my stomach was on "E" because the "Fade" was immediate! just thought i'd throw that in..lol anyway the crowd was mostly indoors where the live music was but outside was a few people listening to one of the regulars "Amanda's"playlist from her Iphone..what??!! I thought it was pretty cool she had a variety of music..so whatever anyway, I didn't have the food but it was a friendly place, good drinks I think? and the outdoor ambience was very nice I don't live in Tulsa I was just there visiting the Bf's family but this place seemed nice enough.

Weekend breakfast on the patio is a joke! Â They are supposed to open at 9:00, but they are never ready by then. Â We drove all the way over there today and at 9:45 we were informed that were not ready. Â Seriously? Â This has happened on several occasions. Â Very very poor management and customer service. Â When it is nice outside and the patio is open Full Moon is great, but they either need to get their act together or just forget about even trying to serve breakfast outdoors on weekends.
Review Source:Blah. Not a fan of Full Moon. We've been here a few times when they had dueling pianos. One of the piano players is always the same who is loud and sort of obnoxious. When he's not singing songs that are requested, he improvises with his own crude lyrics. One time we went, there was a piano player that didn't know the lyrics to any classic song and seemed embarrassed the entire time while playing.
After going to Pat O'Briens in NOLA, I have set my standards high for venues like this. I personally didn't like the music selection at Full Moon and also felt that I couldn't tune it out either because it was ridiculously loud. They also charge cover, which I find outrageous.
I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want to hang out with friends. You won't be able to hear anyone.
Dane and I stopped here one late Saturday afternoon, near where we live on RIverside. They have a unique outdoor covered bar/restaurant patio area right on Cherry Street, as well as an expansive air conditioned dining room/bar area inside. Nice long wood bar and evidently they have frequent live entertainment and dueling pianos too in the evenings. Thursdays they have $3.00 1/2 # hamburgers and happy hour drinks & 1/2 priced appetizers M-F, 4-6 pm. Also "word famous" Tortilla Soup and Chicken Margaritas, which we did not try on this visit. Okie Burger was very good, satisfying and juicy...fresh ground chuck  with bacon, lettuce, onion straws, served on a toasted bun.Tasty fries too. Dane got the half BLT sandwich and their "Almost Endless Salad"...they will even give you one complementary refill on your salad here! ....Crisp greens, black olives, red onions, parmesan cheese, pepperoncinis, tomatoes, croutons....includes a nice fat bread stick. COLD beer.
Wraps, late night menu, desserts and breakfast too.
We had a big burly bearded waiter who said he was a manager. Be sure to check him out and ask about his famous lap dance for bachelorette parties!
The chicken "strip" dinner is a breaded chicken breast sliced into strips: not what was expected but it wasn't bad. The fish and chips were average but not bad, the pasta is mush. Fried green beans and home made potato chips are crispy but could use seasoning for additional flavor.
The best item on the menu is the tortilla soup. It can be added to any meal and a second bowl is always free!
Come for a great dueling piano show Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays but expect to pay a cover and come early because it fills up fast.
Prices are decent, most meals $10 and under, and they usually have drink/beer specials. Â They have a nice and spacious outdoor patio bar adjacent to the main restaurant building which is great for temperate days.
Was in town visiting friends (went to OU, live in NYC) and we stopped in for a bite and a drink. Â I'm not super familiar with the bar scene in Tulsa, but this place wasn't bad.
- Great service
- Great prices (ok ok maybe I was stunned when when I found out that the normal beer price was $4 for a beer that would cost $9 in NYC)
- Burgers are YUMMY
- Wings are soggy and please don't get them
- Martini was done well and not that expensive (dirty/vodka)
Best part of the night was the live music (and no cover charge) inside. Band was Dante and the Hawks and they rocked -- super great interaction with the crowd, really talented musicians, did covers and their own stuff. Â Says they play every Sunday.
Went on $3 burger night, on accident. I was going to go anyway and didn't realize that on Thursday nights they offer $3 burgers with fries. It was very tasty and cheap.
The tortilla soup (~$5) is great and comes with one refill. The soup is topped with sliced tortilla chips, cheese and a teaspoon of guacamole.
I do recommend Full Moon, but kids are not welcome inside at night. We were able to sit with our kids in the bar area outside. Again: Kids are welcome at the bar outside, but not indoors. With blowhards on motorcycles driving by, it can get loud at times outdoors.
Some nights there is a $5 cover to hear a fat guy mash his meaty fists into a piano. I think another guy/gal mashes into the other piano. It is called a piano duel, I think (I have never paid the $5, cover charges are for drunks).
Ok, so my buddy from work and i went there recently while in Tulsa...the key here is to go with moderate expectations...
The whiskey sour was not my fav and they had lots of 3.0 beer.
Our appetizer was chips and white queso...yummy and it came quick. Dinner was taco salads X2...one chicken and one beef...both hot, fresh and just right for proportion.
The service was respectable, the ambience was fine until a loacal trio setup and annoyed us until we were forced to leave...they sucked and so did their repertoir, but thats just life.
Would have liked to enjoy the patio but bad weather prevented us as that was our main reason for going and its a fun section of town.
Full Moon has great burgers. Â
If you go certain nights of the week you can enjoy some dueling pianos. Â Its to guys playing all sorts of tunes, its fun to drink and watch.
But  think of dueling pianos.  2 grand pianos stand up on there legs and battle by shooting piano keys at each other.  The floor is covered with debri from fallen pianos.  So pay your respect.
Great bar they now have a outdoor drinking bar/ patio area that is cool during the summer.
Maybe it's because I showed up here sweating like Kurt Rambis in the fourth quarter, but I won't give this place the benefit of the doubt for staff rudeness. Â It was a 104 degree summer day in Tulsa, and I brought in a styrofoam cup of water from next door. Â "You can't bring that in here," the door guy warned me, without so much as a greeting. Â So I threw that out, payed the cover charge, and ordered a beer at the bar which showed up about ten minutes later. Â I ordered a water later, didn't even get a nod of comprehension, and thought my order was being boycotted until it did show up, some 15 minutes later.
Enough about ME, other folks here (not really my crowd) seemed to be having a good time, and the dueling piano act was actually very good, alternating between a raunchy piano/comedian and a superb cover artist with an uncannily Joe Cocker- like voice. Â High point was a cover of Old McDonald's Farm, with a turrets syndrome chicken. Â Okay bar on a staff off-night? Â Awful bar with a good music night? Â I don't know, 3 stars.
