My wife and I ate at giovani's shrimp truck and it was good but after we got in the car we wanted little more shrimp so we tried fumi's. Â and hands down fumi's were better!!! Quality of the shrimp, taste and value!! Â I have been a chef for over 16 years and I have a restaurant and I really dig fumi's!!! If you already tried giovanis, try fumi's, this will be your new favorite place!!! We got the spicy shrimp and its amazing!! Also comes with little salad and slice of pineapple which compliments well with there garlic butter sauce!
Review Source:Playing tourist in Hawaii always means going to north shore for some yummy garlic shrimp~ ^_^!
There's ample parking right by the shrimp truck (you can't miss the giant shrimp mural on it haha). Â There is also lots of shaded sitting and a sink to wash your garlic buttery fingers afterwards.
I've tried the garlic butter and spicy garlic butter shrimp! Mmm Mmm~ You can also ask for your shrimp peeled if you just want to dig right in!! Â Of course people prefer to work for each bite and suck on the garlicky juices from the shell, but I'm lazy :p!
They also have other shrimp plates like lemon pepper, coconut, and salt n' pepper, but I always end up getting one of the garlic butter ones...can't help it!
The spicy garlic butter plate was $12 and comes with a small salad, two scoops of rice drenched in your sauce choice, and a slice of pineapple :] Â The pieces of shrimp are a nice decent size and you get around 9 pieces? Â I was way too hungry to keep count! Â But I know it was a very decent portion and I was quite satisfied with my plate :]
Also CASH ONLY!!!
If you don't want to wait 30+ minutes for Romy's, go here. It's not as great as their neighbor but you won't wait as long.
Because there are less people, there is more parking available. They have a lot of seats and tables to sit and eat on which is great. The most recent visit, we decided to stay in our car because we saw a large, possibly stray dog, in the parking area (we brought our little puggy with us and we didn't want to endanger him).
Our usual order, which consisted of the garlic butter and spicy garlic butter shrimp were really good. I actually prefer the spicy garlic butter shrimp than the regular because it has more flavor/punch to it. I guess this is the difference between Romy's and Fumi's. As for ordering, I always ask to have the head intact because I feel as if I'm getting my money's worth, oppose to having a headless shrimp. Weird, I know. With the plate, you get a salad and a piece of pineapple. They also sell shaved ice which can be ordered on the side near the tables and chairs. We've ordered it once and it was pretty good. It's a perfect item to eat on those hot days.
Would I return? Of course, but as mentioned, only if Romy's line is long.
Now this was a surprise! Â I know everyone goes to Giovanni's and Romy's to experience the Kahuku shrimp but they were 45 - 60 minute wait! Â So we drove less than a mile down and we reached Fumi's. Â Not crowded and plenty of seats. Â The best part was that there was SELECTION! Â Of course they had shrimp prepared in different ways (their garlic shrimp was really good by the way) but my friend also ordered fries and you could also order other local faves like chicken katsu and other dishes for those who maybe allergic to shrimp or just doesn't like shrimp. Â
the wait was short and the prices were pretty reasonable for our portions.
Stop reading. Â This is the best garlic shrimp on Oahu. Â I love garlic shrimp; eaten at 8 Oahu shrimp places and counting. Â Fumi's is yummy!
You can tell their shrimp is fresh from the taste. Â You can see the shrimp farm from the tables. Â But just savoring succulent mouthful of shrimp and you know that sucker was pulled up this morning. Â
Overall, Fumi's is my first favorite place for garlic shrimp. Â They don't have the best garlic butter or spicy flavor (I give that award to Macky's) but Fumi's garlic butter and spicy flavor are delicious. Â And the shrimp! It's all about the shrimp. Â After I suck all the garlic butter and bite into the shrimp. Â It's bursting with flavor. Â I can't wait to go back! They give plenty of shrimp too. Â I don't recall touching my rice.
Fumi's is a bit cheaper than other shrimp places here. Â And don't tell them this but I'd pay a few dollars more and they could skimp out on one or two shrimp, I'd still come!
They have plates are right under $10
Gahhhh!! Love love love this place! They have such a variety and also their shrimp is way bigger! I love eating their spicy garlic shrimp, it's melt in your mouth happy goodness! But their lemon pepper shrimp is to die for! Would I come back, hells yes! Their service is fast, and it isn't a long way, not like the other places.
Review Source:They use their own farm-raised shrimp here, and it shows! We had the spicy garlic shrimp and the buttery garlic shrimp, and both were fantastic. Both were recommended by the helpful staff, and we were very satisfied. The spicy garlic shrimp was especially delicious, with generous chunks of garlic and about a dozen fat shrimp. If you love shrimp and garlic, don't miss out on this tasty truck!
My only complaint is that I should have asked for the tails to be removed from the shrimp, but live and learn! They were still plump and tasty after removing the tails, and there is a convenient outside sink for washing up after what is bound to be a messy meal. Before I washed, however, I licked the wonderful spicy garlic oils from every finger!
The shrimp come with rice and a "salad" which is lettuce with a bit of dressing, but you don't go to a shrimp food truck for the greens!
Sure, it's a little rustic, but what on earth do people expect from a food truck on the remote North Shore of Oahu? Those who didn't enjoy their meal must have had a different cook or else someone was having a bad day, because I know shrimp and I know garlic, and this place used them masterfully.
For the cost, this is a fantastic meal.
Fresh from the shrimp pond.
I have been to Hawaii a few times and every time I visit I always stop at Fumi's Shrimp Truck. The have upgraded to a stand, but the truck is still there. I love their spicy garlic shrimp and lemon pepper shrimp and spicy shrimp so basically all their shrimp dishes. I do feel like the price is a bit much, but then again the shrimp is so damn fresh I can't really complain. If you look through one of the numerous guide for Hawaii there is a coupon for $2 off for a plate so just a FYI. My friend loves their Taiwanese milk tea and ordered one before a meal and one for the road.
Another great thing is that there is a public bathroom! The trip to Fumi's is far and with an ocean to one side it does make one have to pee so having a reasonably clean bathroom and an outside setting is a winning combo.. Love his place and will be back in the future.
They get a star just for having a bathroom. Granted, you aren't supposed to flush your TP, but still...
We stopped at Romy's first, and then left immediately when we were told the wait was an hour. An hour for shrimp? Nope. Plus, I've been to Romy's before, and I thought they sucked.
Drove here and there was no wait at all. Was able to park, order, and wash up, in all of 5mins. Got the spicy garlic an a bubble tea. I asked what flavors they had for the tea and they replied that there was only one, taiwanese flavor. WTH is taiwanese flavor? Well, it's watered down coffee with boba.
I've seen that some people think the spicy garlic is sweet. I assure you it is not. I despise sweet flavored meat of any kind (which is why I don't like char siu) and this was delicious. There was shrimp, a small garden salad (read: lettuce), and a piece of pineapple in the meal.
Delicious!
I can't really be too critical of this place because it is what it is..a truck that sells shrimp and they do it well. I like the variety of flavors, it's more than just your garlic selection. I liked their salt and pepper and garlic shrimp. It wasn't as buttery/oily as giovanni's. It was flavorful. Although we were surrounded by what looked like termites flying around us and i even found one in my shirt later that night (gross!) but it's not their fault.. we're on an island! So with that, the shrimp was good, much better than giovannis'.
Review Source:This is by far the best shrimp truck I've tried so far. Tons of great flavor options and even without all the flavor, the shrimps are plump, flavorful and tasty. For my friend who doesn't like to eat seafood, the deep fried coconut shrimp was a perfect option. Thinking about the shrimp here makes my mouth water!
Review Source:Almost three weeks back from Hawaii and the sight and smell of shrimp still makes me nauseous... (coming from a BIG seafood lover here)
- Fresh? Â Yes.
- Flavorful? Â Okay, 2 star if it weren't for it's out in the middle of no where.
- Sodas? The best part of the place was their guava/green tea canned drinks
- Coming back? Never again.
Garlic was a bit bland, spicy gave it a kick above bland. Â The combo of ghetto, heat, mosquitoes, and bleh food really gets to you though. Â My friends who brought me here had taste tested all the shrimp stands along the way and thought Fumi's was the absolute best and brought me back. Â Thank goodness this was the only one I tried because had I had to try the others... I may not be able to eat shrimp the rest of my life.
WTF! Â I hate eating shrimp with the shells still on. Â Why would I pay to eat shirmp when the shells are still on!? Â Why are you making me work for my food?!?! Â !@#@$
Ordered the spicy garlic shrimp and the garlic butter shrimp. Â The spicy garlic is almost like a generic chinese/vietnamese sweet spicy sauce on top of the garlic shrimp. Â After peeling off the shell, one bite...WOW! Â How can shrimp taste this good. Â After awhile I simply got lazy peeling off the shells and just dumped everything in my mouth and let my tongue do the sort and peeling. Â
The shrimp tasted so damn f-ing fresh. Â Why is there a big pond next to the place...? Oh after a closer inspection, there were shrimp swimming around. Â No wonder it's so fresh!
Drive is long if you're not in the area for north shore or beaches, but worth it.
There are 2 Fumi's locations several hundred kilometers from each other. The one closer to Haleiwa is an actual truck. I visited the one closer to Kahuku town, a small structure with adjoining real restrooms. As with most of these places, there's also a sink and plenty of napkins near the shaded picnic tables.
The Butter Garlic Shrimp was finger-licking ono, but clearly was NOT prepared to order, as it came out immediately. However, I'll forgive it this time, since it was piping hot; also, I arrived as 2 tour buses were sitting down with their plates. For $12 I got 9 shrimp (shells split for easy peeling), 2 scoops rice, a little bit of salad and a pineapple wedge.
Despite the tour buses, it was nothing like the zoo that Giovanni's often is; my tourist friends can go there. As for me, I prefer here or Romy's. (I've yet to try "Famous" or the one in Haleiwa town yet, though.)
Bonus: The Nozawa Farms corn stand is right across the highway.
I tried both the garlic and the spicy shrimp here and they were both disappointing. You only get 8 pieces of shrimp here and the service was awful. The staff is not friendly and they sure do take their time. At one point, I didn't even see anyone cooking for at least 5-10 minutes. Why waste your time or money here when there are better shrimp trucks in the vicinity.
My mother, sis, and I went on a shrimp truck taste test. We tried both garlic and spicy shrimps at each place. Here is how I rank them:
1. Famous Kahuka Shrimp Truck (Great, Best hot and spicy shrimp)
2. Giovanni's Shrimp Truck (Great, Best garlic shrimp scampi)
3. Macky's Sweet Shrimp Truck (Good)
4. Fumi's Kahuku Shrimp (No Thanks)
5. Romy's Kahuku Prawns & Shrimp (No Thanks)
Note: These shrimp trucks are cash only.
Going out all the way to Kahuku for shrimp, is a must! I usually do it when I want to play tourist in Hawaii. Spend the whole day out in North Shore and hitting up some Shrimp Trucks and getting me some shave ice. AHHH PARADISE =]
My favorite shrimp to order is of course the garlic butter one!
Honestly I do feel these shrimp trucks charge ridiculous amount for a shrimp plate, but oh well its part of the experience I guess.
When comparing shrimp trucks I feel Fumi's is good, but I honestly like Giovanni's the best!
For: sauce, view
Against: the drive, a little pricey
Other essentials: Cash only. Way better than Romy's! Kind of equivalent to Giovanni's although I think Fumi's edges them out.
More:
I like garlic and spicy! So I get the butter garlic shrimp with hot sauce on the side. Delicious. Especially if you pour hot sauce on your rice as well. It could be less drowned in butter but it's still so good. There is a menu item for spicy garlic which should be the same thing but it shorts you on the garlic which is what pushed me to my order. The spicy isn't actually spicy but is just tasty. I believe it is some variation of Chinese garlic-chili sauce. The coconut fried shrimp is also good. With all of their plates, they have a small salad made up of lettuce and Italian dressing. Simple but I like extra flavor / texture than just rice and meat.
As typical with shrimp trucks in Kahuku, they provide a sink with soap and unlimited napkins. So thoughtful. They also recycle here. This reminds me, they only offer Pepsi products. Another thing, you can bring your pups to cruise outside with you. They're always playing awesome 90s pop that people are ashamed to admit they like.
Lastly, I love the view! You can see the windmills and the road stretching off in either direction. No views of the ocean but you have a front row seat to the actual shrimp farms.
"Take the first step, and your mind will mobilize all its forces to your aid. But the first essential is that you begin. Once the battle is startled, all that is within and without you will come to your assistance." Robert Collier
I definitely enjoyed the garlic shrimp here. A tip when you order, ask for "no rice" and you get 13 shrimps instead of the usual amount Sure you don't get rice but you can try and go to the other shrimp trucks to taste theirs as well as have room for shaved ice.
Yelp Challenge: 48/365
All these decades of living on Oahu, infrequent trips up to the North Shore, and this was my first Shrimp Truck experience. Â Fumi's was convenient with plenty of parking & dining area. Â We had the butter-garlic shrimp. Â It was as advertised. Â Succulent fresh shrimp made to order. Â Definitely someplace to try if you're up Kahuku side!
Review Source:in a matter of minutes, Killer and I tried out the Big Three Kahuku shrimp trucks/shacks. Â here's how I rate them:
Giovanni's - 1
Fumi's - 2
Romy's - 3
Fumi's edges out Giovanni's taste-wise for Garlic butter/Scampi shrimp, but Giovanni's gets the overall win due to their numerous seating areas and available restrooms.
Fumi's is the truck that started my love of garlic butter shrimp and a major plus for them is that their shrimp couldn't possibly get any fresher being that they have the pond right behind the truck!
The husband and I celebrated Thanksgiving with our families before the actual holiday, so we decided to eat some good old garlic shrimp instead of turkey. Â
The husband ordered a half/half plate of pork chops and garlic butter shrimp, and I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp. Â Why the husband would order pork chops at a shrimp farm, I have no idea.... Â And neither did he after he took a taste. Â Not that the pork chop was bad, it just was no where near as good as the shrimp. Â My hot and spicy shrimp were delicious and the shrimp were huge! Â I was full before I finished it all, so the lucky husband got to have a couple more shrimp to enjoy. Â
A plus for me is that the shrimp were served without the head LOL... Â I know some people love it, but not me. Â The prices here are also cheaper than both at Romy's and Giovanni's. Â Can't wait to come back and try more of their shrimp deliciousness!
We had some time before the PCC opens.. Why not check out the shrimp trucks along the way?
Decided to try fumi's before Giovanni's..thank good ness we did!!
The shrimp was huge, but tasted very very sweet. We tried the garlic shrimp which wasn't loaded with butter which was a plus and the hot and spicy shrimp; it wasnt as spicy as I hoped it would but that that fine. The shrimp came with a side if greens, 2 scoops of rice and a slice of pineapple. And yes, they have s ink where you can wash off the damage from inHaling all of that delicious food.
Is it worth taking a road trip up to the north shore? Heck yes.
I love fumi and I hate fumi. I love fumi because I went to hawaii for a wedding on the beach at turtle bay resort...and honestly I have talked about Fumis shrimp truck more than the wedding. I hate fumi because she has ruined any and every other shrimp for the rest of my life. NOTHING will ever be as good and come close to fumis shrimp dishes.
If fumi had 4 faces and breathed fire...id still marry her. If fumi sold her plates for 200 bucks and required a ritualistic human sacrifice offering, I would eat here STILL once a day. If fumi demanded I ate naked with a rainbow bowtie singing "im an oscar meyer weiner" I would belt it out with the bravado of a broadway opera singer.
I can think of 5 hawaiian smells that stand out in my head.
Ocean
Pineapples
Coffee fields
mountain air
Fumis shrimp truck
If you are downwind of the truck, you can smell it for at least 2 minutes before you reach the lot. A blind man could find this place just by the aroma. The closer you get the more you smile.
The truck is on grounds of a shrimp farm. Im sure if you asked nice enough, you could pick the shrimp you wanted to eat from the water. Really all you have to do is show up hungry and with a smile on your face..fumi takes care of the rest. I ordered the hot and spicy shrimp dish. my girlfriend ordered the spicy garlic shrimp.. You order from the back of the truck, then you sit down and wait. when you are plated, thats when the magic happens
You are greeted with a huge portion of split shelled no head shrimp *big enough to name and take for walks* a scoop of white rice, a very simple lettuce salad with italian dressing, and a hunk of pineapple. I swear im salivating as im writing this. How you eat is up to you. You can shell your shrimp all in one go (which I did the third trip) you can stick the whole shrimp in your mouth and suck the juices clean...shell THEN eat (which I did the first and second trip) or you can just eat the entire shrimp legs, shell, tail, and flesh (which I did first second AND third trip) I do not recommend the last way, however its that amazing you just cant help yourself.
The hot and spicy shrimp is just that....It numbs your mouth but you really dont care. The most amazing shrimp I have ever eaten in my life...and im from Key West. We have a shrimp named after us f*$&% sake.
I would go back to Hawaii JUST to eat fumis shrimp. If I am ever on death row, this will be my last meal.
OH MY GOSH!!! DUDE SERIOUSLY! When I think about this shrimp I can't form coherent sentences. But anyways. Living in Hawaii I have been to many Shrimp trucks. My favorites up till now was Giovannis and Romy's but now it is Fumi's
Coming up to North Shore you come up to all these shrimp trucks on the side of the road and I admit it can be a bit scary to try them the first time but I promise you  it's worth it. You will not have better shrimp anywhere else!
Fumi's is different to me because they not only serve yummy, fresh, peel to eat  shrimp. But they also sell chicken katsu and other things. So if you don't want shrimp h(Which is crazy) there are other things you can eat..
The reason I like Fumis is because they don't only have butter shrimp, and garlic shrimp but they have other flavors too. I ended up getting ginger shrimp which was YUMMY. With your shrimp you get two scoops of rice smoothered in butter. YUM and salad YUM. Thinking about it I'm geting hungry. The shrimp here are not super greasy, you do have to peel it. But stop being a girl! The shrimp here are huge and sweet and fresh and you seriously can't get better anywhere else. So come to Fumi's if you are looking for shrimp. I promise you won't be disappointed!
My friends and I decided to visit Fumi's because one of my friends didn't want shrimp. Â I guess many shrimp trucks only sell shrimp- but Fumi's is one of the few that has other options. Â The place looks/works like any other shrimp truck, order at the shack window, get a number, wait for number to be called, pick up your food, enjoy. Â They have plenty of seating and the area is covered so the sun isn't beating down on you. Â Now, about the food. Â My boyfriend and I weren't too hungry, so we shared:
-Spicy garlic shrimp plate ($12): about eight fairly large shrimp smothered in a delicious, garlic, spicy oil sauce. Â The sauce goes excellent with the white rice. Â The shrimp was cooked just right and had plenty of flavor. Â Also served with a slice or pineapple and a small side salad (both were pretty good, but the star is definitely the shrimp).
-Corn ($3 or 2 for $5): this locally grown corn is unlike the corn that I'm used to eating on the mainland. Â It was a bit firmer, more yellow, and with more subtle flavors. Â It was pretty tasty. Â It's sometimes hard to work some veggies into the hawaiian vacation diet, so this was my attempt.
Overall, Fumi's was a winner. Â Hot/tasty food at a very fair price, quick/helpful service, clean tables, and sink with soap and paper towels to wash your hands after devouring the shrimp.
$12 for a plate of 8 16/20 extra jumbo sized shrimp with two scoops rice, romaine lettuce salad and a small slice of pineapple. Shrimp was done to perfection, not overcooked. It was sweet, tender and juicy. I had the spicy shrimp which had just enough heat to flavor the dish but not to where I couldn't taste anything. The butter garlic shrimp was slathered with minced garlic butter over all.
The shrimp tails are not shelled but split down the backs so it was easy to peel. Fumi's has clean tables and a wash basin with soap and paper towels so you can wholeheartedly dig in and peel your shrimp with all ten fingers and not have to worry about greasy fingers after.
One more thing, if you can't decide on the sauces, they will make combo plates on request.
Labor Day. Â Island road trip! Â Need I say more?
I'm sure every local has done a road trip and had a "Kahuku Shrimp Truck" on their list. Â (No judgement here)
However, keep in mind that coming on a holiday... there WILL be ridiculously long lines. Â
With that being said, my boyfriend and I first went to Giovanni's. Â It seriously looked like it was a flea market; with all the cars, tents, kiosks, etc. I refused to wait for the hyped-up shrimp from Giovanni's. Â We went to Fumi's next. Â There were only 3 people in line. Â I'm thinking, "Perfect!" Â Little did I know, that everyone sitting on the benches on the side--are waiting for their orders.
About 20 minutes later, we receive our Garlic Shrimp Scampi with spicy sauce on the side. Â My plate came with a petite salad and a couple wedges of pineapple. Â
I have no favorite shrimp truck. Â They each have their own unique flavor. Â And that, I will respect.
WONDERFUL GOODNESS!!!
I rarely give 4 stars but when I do... you can bet this place is bomb! This location is located right in front of their shrimp farm, but their were no shrimps in the pond. There are 3 things I liked about this place:
1. The food : I had the spicy garlic shrimp, and I saw how they made it too. It was one heaping LADLE of country crock butter, spread out onto the wok. Then the cook tossed in a bowl of large shrimps, along with some hot sauce and red pepper flakes+ some secret ingredients?.... The shrimps were so good, it was juicy and tender, covered in butter and garlic. It was DELICIOUS! The salad was also fresh and along with the dressing was very tasty!
2. It's nice and clean! : The restroom was clean, their kitchen was clean, their eating area was clean. That's the best! clean restroom = clean kitchen
3. The price ! : It cost $12 for 10 large shrimps salad and rice, i know it may seem expensive but if you're in the city, 10 large shrimps will cost you $17-$20.
Fumi's spicy garlic shrimp is amazing. Sometimes the wait can be long, but it's all worth it in the end, trust me. It's actually kind of pricey too at $12 a plate. The plate comes with 8-9 shrimp, two scoops of rice, a small salad with Italian dressing, and a slice of pineapple. It is kinda pricey compared to Giovanni's which gives 12 shrimp, but the quality of the sauce here is much better, in my opinion. Sometimes I wish they would add more sauce and drizzle it all over the rice.
Fumi's is the third shrimp place after Giovanni's and Romy's so your stomach might be telling you to STOP at the first truck due to the delicious garlic smell, but you should definitely hold on a little longer to try the spicy garlic shrimp from Fumi's. Those Chinese cooks have really mastered the right combination of spicy and garlic to produce Kahuku shrimp euphoria!
They have other pretty cool selections that I haven't been able to try due to my addiction to their spicy garlic shrimp. I believe they have coconut shrimp, garlic butter, amongst some others. I've tried Romy's and I've tried Giovanni's, but Fumi's remains my favorite. (Though Romy's PRAWNS are another story...)
There's choke parking in the front and a decent amount of tables. Although you may want to go early to secure a table under the shade! They also have surprisingly clean bathrooms and a sink to wash up after your meal.
I had to try this place out after hearing that they use shrimp from the shrimp ponds (unlike Giovanni's). About the same price as Giovanni's, but they don't give as much food. I do like how they include a small salad and a slice of pineapple with each order.
The spicy garlic shrimp is the way to go -- much better than the regular garlic shrimp (Giovanni's is better imho). The rice here is on the hard side so if you're not a fan of hard rice...brace yourself.
If the first location is too busy, try the second one located down the street. Just beware...they have a ton of tour groups that stop at that location so you might be in store for a long wait.
Overall, I'm glad I tried it. I don't think it's really worth the drive out to Kahuku and the $12-$13.
I can't decide between Fumi's & Giovanni's and I don't want to be the one that plays favorites! The two are pretty neck to neck - both delicious and super flavorful!
We tried the #8 Spicy Garlic Shrimp and it was SOOOOOO good and pretty spicy too! This location had a bunch of benches to enjoy your meal as well as a sink to wash your hands. How convenient! YUM.
I hadn't had a chance to visit the other trucks, but I liked the covered sittting area with a sink to wash your hands.
The spicy garlic shrimp was about 6 shrimp. The sauce went very well with the rice and the fruit stand next door sold some delicious and fresh fruit and juice which was a great compliment to the shrimp
Not great, not bad, definitely decent. Â The shrimp was fresh and prepared well. Â Fumi's shrimp seems to be a slightly bigger than the other trucks. Â Plusses: Â Location has a big, clean covered area for eating. Â There's a convenient wash station, let's face it, eating and reviewing shrimp is quite a messy fete.
Despite a slightly higher price than the average trucks I would come back and try some other shrimp dishes.
I was Fumi's first customer for the day when I went there. Â I got there 5 minutes after 10 am and the place wasn't open yet. Â What happened? Â I thought they opened @ 10 am.
I came back half an hour later and ordered butter garlic shrimps. Â The workers speak Mandarin so maybe this is a Chinese shrimp truck.
Butter garlic ($12): 9 big shrimps with salad, 2 scoops of rice and a slice of pineapple. Â The shrimps were overcooked and I was having a problem peeling some of them. Â Fumi's was generous with its chopped garlic though. Â The sauce was pretty good.
No cats here, just ants. Â I changed table 3 times because I didn't want to share my table with ants. Â It is outdoor seating so that's understandable. Â I saw the worker cleaned the table by wiping it with wet cloth. Â If I was the owner, I would use the water hose to spray the table before the customers came. A small boombox played songs from the radio

Fumi's is kinda yummylicious!!
