My first time here, and the service was great and the atmosphere an decor was awesome. The burger I had wasn't all that great but I would consider going back to trying something different.

One of my favorite places to go in Santa Monica! If you're looking for a quality, large portioned, Americana dinner take a table. If you want to get the Cheers-y vibe and an awesome happy hour, go to the bar. All the BEAUTIFUL servers and bartender are very friendly and knowledgeable! The entrees are huge, and the happy hour menu gives you a good blend of smaller options. Stiff drinks with little mermaids holding your garnish, this is an adorable nautical dinner or drink any night. Although, it does get packed late night on weekends with a younger, rowdy, crowd. Try the filet salad and mushroom appetizer (I get them as a side, so delicious!)

This is an excellent place to bring your naive extended family from the Midwest to for dinner.  I don't think they salt anything so your uncle can add flavor as desired. I also don't think they pay really careful attention to what you order so you might get a pleasant surprise!  You might also get an unpleasant surprise like half your food never arriving.  You know what's great about this place too is that you probably will never get food poisoning because they make sure to fully cook everything, meat is grey, veggies practically incinerated.  Also good for your aunt with the bad teeth that can't chew well.  Your little cousins will be happy with all the fried breaded starters and your alcoholic cousin has a fine choice of standard drinks.  There are Xmas lights and dead puffer fish and weird old pictures everywhere, very entertaining for your ADD addled nieces and nephews.  Bring a lot of money bc it's like red lobster pricing here.
