My friends and family told me to go here and said they really enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, I liked the food and sangria but I thought it was a little overpriced. They serve tapas style so it is nice to try in a group but you have to order a bunch to get full. Â It's not going to break the bank but when you have a decent appetite you're not getting out of here under $45 a person. For that money I would recommend a number of different places.
Review Source:Delicious! The tortilla espanola and the bacon wrapped dates were delicious!!! The beat salad was also bomb. Sangria was great you can get red or white. The setting is super cute, sit on the patio!! Good for large groups too, came here for a friend's birthday. Also seems like a cute date spot :)
Review Source:I liked it but wasn't bowled over. Â Food was consistently good overall. Â We shared the bacon wrapped dates, croquetas, cheese plate, and tiger shrimp. Â We also had a pot de creme. Â Honestly the pot de creme at The Little Door blows this one out of the water, but it was still tasty. Â
I'd give it 3 stars just because I thought the food was good but not special - however the wine list and our server were so wonderful that I would be doing them a grave disservice if I didn't give an extra star for that. Â They have pages and pages of wonderful wines, pretty much anything you could want. Â And they also had 1/2 price bottles - amazing deal!!!
Our server was Bonny, and she was so delightful and sweet. Â We felt welcomed immediately, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Â We were kind of high maintenance about picking a wine, but she brought us at least 3 different tastes of different wines to help us make a decision (and all were delicious). Â I've seen some other reviews talking about bad service, but that wasn't my experience at all - maybe ask for her the next time?
The ambiance is nice/fine, but I've been to places that I like better, like Lukshon in Culver City or the view at the Angeleno or the Ritz. Â In general I'd probably go back but it isn't on my 'must' list.
