George's Kendig Square Restaurant

This is a great straightforward diner with a nice large pie menu. We came here after a disastrous meal at Maison just for dessert. Service was warm and friendly. Menu was quite large. And food is very reasonably priced. We had the hot fudge sundae and the fresh strawberry pie. This was the highlight of our otherwise awful evening. Very glad we stopped here and we will be back.

Nothing special, just alright.  Reasonable prices and good diner food.

Stopped in here while passing through the area.  Sign said family restaurant so we gave it a shot instead of the nearby Burger King.  

Once the food arrived, a whopper seemed much more appealing....

The staff was friendly, but the food was pretty sad.  Everything tasted like it was just taken from the freezer and heated.  All SYSCO stuff put on a plate.  All the sauces were from packets, the salad was out of a bag, and in general just tasted pretty meh.

The plus was the warm bread that seemed fresh and not as awful.  

Maybe breakfast is better here, but skip the dinner menu.
