As a regular customer I agree that they are consistently fast and friendly (except when their teenage employee answers the phone simply, "Hello?"- very unprofessional.) Â Veggies are the best in town. Chicken is hit or miss- in fact, Â if it was always fresh I would have given this a five star rating. And yes, great prices!

Prices are very affordable, portions are large, and after three visits, I haven't been let down. Â
I picked up for the first time last night and the staff was nice and friendly. Â My food only took ten minutes! Â I've ordered online as well and they have always gotten our order correct.
A big disappointment. Egg rolls were lousy: very heavy with a filling that consisted of only cabbage and meat, with the cabbage not very fresh. Menu said "crabmeat" was in the Seafood Delight, but it was fake crab. Shrimp and lobster were way overcooked. Other dishes included way too much carrots and celery. Service was friendly but sporadic.

Anyway, the people who work there are very nice, but it was almost like they just made the food out of frozen food in the back. Â Sure, it came out within 3 minutes of ordering, but everything tasted like it was just thawed out and thrown in the microwave. Â I should prob give this place 1 star, but they were very accommodating to our business meeting of 8 people and let us sit there for a while after eating.
Would I go back: most likely never.
Staying in Bloomington for a few days my boyfriend was not feeling great and we did not want to trawl all the way to MOA just to eat. As far as we could tell the only place within walking distance was a Jimmy Johns sandwich shop, a fast food Mexican place and a restaurant (with not the greatest reviews) and we just really wanted to stay in the room and get something delivered. Research indicated that pizza is pretty much all you can get delivered in Bloomington, then we stumbled on some Yelp reviews of this place (Golden Wok OR 617 Golden Wok).
They were exceptionally helpful on the phone, their website makes ordering a breeze too and they had no issues delivering.
The food was fantastic, healthy, fresh and tasty. No greasy residual at all as is sometimes common place with Chinese food. The veg were so very fresh and crisp.
We ordererd from the Chinese menu (they have a Japanese menu too).
Chicken curry, schezuan beef and the diet steamed veg with white rice.
It was delivered promptly with plates, utensils and everything a hotel dweller needs.
Would definitely order from this place again if we happened to be in Bloomington and recommend the food (quality at low price) to anybody who is local.
Away on business and the hotel room service is closed, so what do you do? Yelp search "delivery" and call it a night..
Thats how I stumbled upon Golden Wok. They are so cheap! They offer small or large plates which is good..
I got kung pow chicken with fried rice, crab rangoons and egg rolls. All was good, delivered fast and had all the sauces.
I was on a project in Bloomington and ordered Golden Wok at least once a week--quick, cheap, and delicious! For one, they're one of the only places (besides pizza) that delivers to the Bloomington area. (There is a minimum order of $16) Â My standard order was Crab Rangoon, Cream Cheese Wontons, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and soup and it was wonderful every time. The order showed up in a quality manner and the driver even helped me out when I forgot my card in my room by taking the time to call in and give them my card number over the phone! The quality is dependable and they never forgot the utensils or the fortune cookies :) I would definitely recommend it.
Review Source:My brother-in-law and his family have lived near this place for a while, and my sister and I finally decided to try this place out. Â We saw all the positive reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Â This place is pretty tiny as far as seating goes. Â It's like a carry-out and delivery place that might seat 15-20 people at most. Â Since all the seating was taken my sister and I had to do carry-out. Â I was slightly disappointed they were out of an ingredient to make the Florida Roll we originally wanted. Â Instead, we got the Roll Combo - consisting of a Spicy Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll and a California Roll, the Lyndale Roll, and the Crazy Roll. Â All of it was presented very well, and tasted delicious. Â I think what made it taste even better was appreciating that it was pretty affordable. Â I would certainly consider this for a sushi take-out spot if I lived in the area. Â The staff was pretty quick and courteous.
Review Source:This place is OUTSTANDING! I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and visited Japan twice and the sushi here is as good if not better than any of the sushi I ever had. Golden Wok has a very talented and diligent staff worthy of your best tip. My wife and I love it here, it is like our home away from home. The quality of both the Japanese and Chinese menu items deserves 5 solid stars!!!!!

For $5 I get some of the best orange chicken around! That's all I have had their. But, anyone else that has been there with me has loved their meal as well.
They are very fast. Seriously, you sit down and order and probably within five minutes you'll have your food. Such a great place to have in this neighborhood!
I live a couple few blocks away, I can't believe I have not reviewed this place. Â I have dozens of photos, eaten here maybe 20-30 times not to mention deliveries. Â First off it's a Chinese restaurant. Â Fantastic food. Â It's atmosphere is that of a Subway but, it's great food. Â Now having said that, THE SUSHI, is outstanding, we have probably ordered two of everything on the SUSHI menu. Â Very nice people, very prompt, very quick. Â They have unsweetened iced tea with free refills.
Review Source:This place is ideal for lunch and takeout. They're quick, yummy and cheap. The lunch special is 4.95 for an entree and rice, and drinks are a dollar. One dollar. Also, if you look closely at the menu, you'll see that they offer some of their entrees in lunch sizes all day, and for delivery. My favorite thing about their meals are that the vegetables are fresh and have a light crunch, not like most Chinese places where they seem like they came straight from a can and have been swimming in liquid most of their sad, unnatural lives.
In the negatives, the sushi is pretty outrageously priced. I'm not paying 4.95 for a California roll from a Chinese takeout place, especially when Osaka is half the price and about five minutes away. Silly.
Also, they don't serve any alcohol whatsoever. This makes me sad.
Overall though, great lunch specials and good for takeout. I like.
I've both eaten here and had take out several times. I l can't get enough of  the Chinese food here, especially since they accommodate my mom's request of little oil and no canned vegetables. I would suggest anything with vegetables, like Shrimp with Vegetables. I haven't tried any of their fried items yet but hope to soon.
The prices are great and service is very fast. It's always busy and everyone is super friendly. For primarily a take out Chinese restaurant I see a lot of customers ordering the sushi so it must be good.
