Grapevine

Use to be on Friday nights the Grapevine was packed with good friends, good food, and good fun.  A shadow of what it use to be though.  And it does have a weird smell.

Well. I think the only real nice things about this bar are its proximity to where I live, and the fact that it's next door to a 24 hour Kroger (read: 2am cigarettes and munchies after you leave the bar).

They also have 4 dollar pitchers on Wednesday nights which is rad, unfortunately I'm not too into beer...but bonus for those who are.

I hear that when it rains it smells like ass. Like literal ass (septic problems maybe?) but I have yet to experience this.

The patio out back is a nice place to get away from the questionable bands that play.

Drinks are cheap but it seemed to me as though the mixed drinks were a little light on the alcohol.

Also they charged a $5 cover. I don't mind paying a cover to go see a good band or to go chill in a good atmosphere but umm. At the Grapevine? Really??

But I'll probably be back 'cause it's close and cheap.

Fun karaoke but the drama and weird smells that come from the inside are not so bueno. the patio is fun when there is cornhole and some fun people out back. Cheap drinks.
