First of all the website information does not match the actual offering on site.  Happy hour is not 24/7, it ends when you arrive.  The menu is very limited.  Fried hamburger, $1 for cheese, fried chicken, fried fish.  The open liquor bottles had little paper cones inverted atop the pour spouts.  When I inquired as to why, I was told to keep the flies out!  What about our open drinks and food?

Much better now that it is under new management! Had a great time listening to the live music this weekend. The buffalo chicken wrap is the best wrap in town!

Alright. First off, I have trained bartenders and servers for 5+ years now. This place has potential, but needs to trim some fat to actually have some long-term success. I came in with my friend to see the Duke/UNC game. Was on NO TVs out of the 15 or so at the bar despite the game being on ESPN. One TV had the default Insight cable channel PowerPoint channel (Ch. 2) on the entire time. Embarrassing. I asked for the channel to be changed and the bartender said "Why would you want to watch that shit?" With delayed horse racing and a default channel currently on TVs. This bartender was wearing a JACK DANIELS dirty-looking white T-shirt and was obviously in his 30s. Balding, and having an attitude towards customers. This person should NOT be in customer service, or bartending at all. Lest be forget, he's not in Tennessee, and in bourbon country. Someone should've made sure that t-shirt was not EVER worn behind a bar. Came across as really lazy and unprofessional. Also, he didn't have a clue what a "John Wall shot" was, poured draft beers straight-on with foam overtaking everything creating an amount of waste that I would've been furious at if I ran the bar or owned the place, and when his "tedious" customer service was done, he went and proceeded to sit at the bar and talk to his coworkers the whole time rather than doing his job. Also, a drink was spilled and he didn't offer to clean it up. The patron had to clean it up himself and he didn't ask to replace his drink either. The other female bartender did, which was nice to see at least so at least there is some potential there in regards to service. The crowd was OLD, and didn't lead to us wanting to stick around at all after our one drink. In short, this place needs help, but with the right people in place there's a chance it can work. Cut the jerks completely out of the picture. Hire people that are positive, want to be there, and are willing to help the business grow and success. Otherwise, this place might have a short life just like Shooters, and Crossroads did before it.
