I was staying at The embassy Suites Hotel where this restaurant is located and decided to hold a Welcome Dinner for my out of town guests and family. Planning this event was a pleasure with the Banquet Dept. Set up was lovely, and the private room was great...that is where it all fell apart. I had 22 guests on a preplanned menu...appetizers were coming out during entrees...some people were just getting their salads when others were done eating their entrees. Meals were sitting on the side table- and at one point I got up to serve them!!! They were cold. The waitresses were working hard BUT no one was watching and managing the food prep and service!!!! It took over 2 hours to serve everyone! I was so embarrassed! I spent so much time worrying and micromanaging the food service that I did not get a chance to mingle with my guests! They tacked on a 19% gratuity and I can assure you....they did not DESERVE it!
The food was not bad in and of itself. But it was cold and sporadic! Not what you would want for a sit down affair! This cost me over a Grand. I also heard other guests from events held there they would never go back.
We ate two other large party dinners in the resturant and they were also slow to serve. Meals came out very sporadically. Clearly they do not have enough kitchen staff OR they should change their menu to items that can be prepared faster.
I found the Cesar salad mediocre at best. The chicken was cold and still pink and the dressing had little to no flavor. The only good thing about my dinner was that they brought me the wrong wine, which ended up being delicious (and much more than I had wanted to spend on wine!) save your self a lame meal and drive into town for dinner.
