Wow! just WOW!

I didnt know a place like this existed in the area! I been living in the area for 10+ years and thought I could only find a place like this on the northside of Chicago! The food was excellent! I came here after purchasing a certificate on http://restaurants.com. THANK YOU http://restaurant.com for "introducing" me to this joint! yum yum yum! I came here with my mom and three year old son. Mom ordered a pasta dish and I was amazed. simply amazed. my cajun chix sandwich and sweet potato fries was beyond good.

this is my new go to spot! my mom was very pleased and took a menu for future carry out! she is a food snob but she was one happy camper after dinner here! :)

Good find! The Talk of the Town burger was good, nothing extraordinary, but the tater puffs were cold :( The chicken quesadilla had AMAZING flavor, and the sweet potato fries, although tiny, are really delicious. Also, the turtle cheesecake is fantastic :)

The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is super cute - small but not cramped :) I honestly would have given then 5 stars if my tater puffs hasn't been cold...

Surprisingly nice little find in Whiting, IN. We wanted a quick bite to eat before going to the Casino and found Grillers on Yelp - glad we did. We both got the chicken with cheddar and bacon. The chicken was nice and juicy, they used real cheddar, and the bacon added a nice crunch and flavour.

Grillers is GREAT! Fast and delicious! Lunch is super busy and crowded, but it's worth it. Also, you can order online and they can get it to you in 45 minutes or less. The whole office has actually been ordering from there A LOT lately and everything is yummy!

Was here a few hours ago for the first time and the food was not bad at all for the price. Also liked the dining area which was clean and comfortable. BUT! We got our food and realized that there was no ketchup on the table. So I decided to get up and ask for some. Which was not a problem at all. The young lady at the counter asked me which table I was seated in and that she would bring it right over. So I had no problem with that. For the first 4 minutes!! Once about 7 minutes had passed my gf decided to go ask the other young lady at the counter and she gladly asked if we wanted packets or a bottle and just handed her the packets. GREAT I said. Then I finally start to eat and my food was starting to get cold. I didn't complain as I didn't want to complicate things. But I did enjoy my food but also hated the fact that this young lady didn't even come apologize for forgetting to bring us our ketchup. She didn't even have a clue that the other girl had gave it to us. So she completely forgot!! I would understand if the place was crowded and a ton of things were going on at once but there was only one more table with about 4 people. Experiences like this make you forget about the good food at many places. People eat out to enjoy a good meal and good service. I think I'll give this place one more shot due to the above average food.

Went here again today as I wanted lunch but something not too heavy. This time I had their Mushroom & Swiss Burger. It was served right off the grill and was very tasty. It definitely did not disappoint.

My three friends and I stopped by here for lunch on our weekend roadtrip to Nashville.

1. Asada wrap, 9 http://www.yelp.com/biz_…
Delicious, one of the best wraps I've ever had. The steak was cooked nicely, and the complements (avocado, bacon, deliciousness) were perfect. It also comes with a side of fries, tater tots, or salad.

My friend's pasta seemed mediocre (she said it was too cheesy), so I would definitely recommend the steak wrap.

Street parking available.

I will never understand how somebody can mess up food cooked in a timed deep fryer.

Love this place. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. I have yet to try a meal here I didn't love.

Personal favorites are the Monte Cristo and the Steak Asada Wrap. Everything is very flavorful, and the portions are large - but not too large.

I've taken my kids here and also eaten here alone with my wife. It's a neat little place with a friendly staff.

I can't get enough of this place. My VIP status here puts Diddy to shame!

New favorite: Steak Asada wrap--tons of flavor, spiciness, and avocado!

I still love the Buffalo Chicken sandwich AND the Chicken Pita Fajitas!

What can I say, my heart has many lovers here!

They have a great Chicken Cesar Salad. Their soups are great...as are their fries. Great for a nice little lunch.

Griller's, you saved my workday lunches, for real.

They make fresh food that tastes great. If you come here do yourself a favor and get the Chicken Fajita Pita. It is so so good. They also have a good Veggie Burger and they have the best side choices. Tots, sweet potato fries and grilled veggies (tip: ask them to go light on the oil) just to name a few. Yum!
I highly recommend Griller's if you're ever in the area.

This place is GREAT! A little gem in Whiting. Its come A LONG way since my dad owned the hienie's that once occupied the building, I love what they did with the place. Whenever I want a Monte Cristo, I ALWAYS come here; their Monte Cristos just can't be beat (especially with the raspberry jelly). And not just that but they have excellent entrees, like cajun chicken pasta. No other place around whiting has what they offer. I rarely ever eat there, its more of a order out and pick-up kind of place. The only thing is, it's a tad bit pricey, but its amazing overall..

Grillers is a nice place to go for a quick meal in the area. The food is good and they offer a lot of menu options and change the menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The pasta for dinner is delicious! Service is good and the staff is nice; though during busy times the wait can get a little long. It is probably the best place to get a quick meal in Whiting.

Hello, FOOD SNOB here.
A decent place to go for lunch for a quick bite. Use to be a mexican restaurant turned American. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you.

I had the Blackened Cajun Chicken Wrap. It was OK. For Blackend Chicken it should have been a little spicier. Overall the taste was OK. The thing I did like was the potatoe chips. I think they were home made. They kinda reminded me of the chips from Harry Careys at Taste of Chicago.

Again OK but I would go to Winey Beach Cafe just down the street for a better Wrap.

Okay,
so it's been a year since I discovered Griller's.

And I'm still deeply in love....

They recently rolled out a new dinner menu of DELICIOUS pastas. My favorite is the bow-tie tomato basil con crema and grilled shrimp. Dangerously delicious (because it's sooo good and they gave so much but you keep eating past the point of being full!) and I also discovered their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (usually a daily special but you can ask for it and they'll whip it up NO PROBLEM!)

I also have attended a party held in their banquet hall and I cannot wait to have an occasion to throw a party here myself. Super clean, well fixed and decorated space with GRILLER'S catering (or they you can bring your own food as well)..I THINK YES!

Please be advised...this place is closed on SUNDAYS!

Annddd..if you go often enough (like my bestfriend and I)..the owner usually gives you free dessert! :)

This place was recommended to us by a couple of my husband's co-workers and we were quite pleased. We thought the food was great. I ordered the tomato basil pasta with shrimp. For 10 bucks I got a huge serving of pasta, garlic bread and a side salad. The cilantro-lime vinegrette was quite tasty. My husband ordered a club sandwich that had grilled chicken, bacon lettuce, tomato, and avocado served on sourdough bread. I

It is nice to find a place like this in northwest indiana. :)

This is the place to eat if you are in the area. Very good burgers & wraps. I have tried many things on thier menu and never been disappointed. The chicken enchilada soup is always delicious, I usually get a lil extra sour cream :) Oh, and the owner and girls who work there are some of the nicest people ever!

Probably the most decent place I've found in East Chicago. I work out here but live in Chicago and it's hard to find any place in the area to go out for lunch that isn't fast food or chinese/mexican takeout. The options get boring. Thanks for mixing it up, Grillers!

The wraps are amazing and the burgers look good, but too greasy for my tastes. The food is affordable (meal under $10) but maybe just a little bit on the overpriced side; these are Panera-sized prices but certainly not Panera-quality ingredients in the food. Good portions though, and everything I've had there is delicious.

The staff is friendly and helps us push together tables (which are in high demand) if we bring a large group. Speaking of which show up early to ensure you'll get a table!

Came on a rainy day, I found perfect parking and made it in b4 rush hour lunch (table guaranteed). This is a take-out or sit-in type of restaurant, you place your order at the register then receive a number and they'll bring over your food.
The menu offered fresh salads, wraps, burgers, soup, and even a Chicago-style hotdog.
I ordered the cilantro wrap with 'carne asada' steak, it definitely had its ethnic flare- avocado and jalapenos! and with this wrap I can choose either soup, salad or chips- which are homemade fresh potato chips YUM! The chicken enchilada soup is terrific too.
Grillers Inc. has a diner feel, I ordered coffee (which was delicious), and the staff came over a few times to ask if everything was fine and or if I wanted some more coffee.
The tables were clean and dry, ready for you to feed. The tv's kept the diners entertained possibly for all the sport teams Chicago has to offer.

p.s. Grillers Inc. offers sweet potato fries!!!

I came here with a colleague. I had a cheeseburger with grilled onions, and accompanied by their tato puffs (basically round hash browns). The burger was fine, but for $9, it wasn't a very good value, and it was a long wait even at 11:15am, before the rush. I noticed however that it is a popular lunch place. I think their offering of other more healthy items like grilled chicken salads, and pita wraps are a big attraction for the area. Since I tend not to order those for lunch (er, I guess I mean anytime), I would say that this is not the best place to pick up a burger anyway.

Went there on a rainy day... the roof was leaking and they had a large trash can parked almost in front of the restroom door to catch the water. My husband and I both ordered burgers. We both specifically requested no onions. When the waitress brought our food mine was swimming in onions mixed in with cheese that looked like melted cheez-whiz. (wrong cheese too... I requested cheddar) The waitress said those weren't onions but I pulled one strip out of the melted cheese mess and proved her wrong. They quickly fixed me a new burger. Later my husband had stomach issues from the seasonings they put on the burgers but neglected to mention on the menu board. He declared that we were not going back to that establishment. Not a very good first time experience.
