Easy to get to, easy parking, good prices and great karaoke sound. That's pretty much all I need to keep a smile on my face. Tuesday is karaoke night, and I don't know if they do it on other nights. Great mix of people and everyone was having a good time. I'll definitely check it out again.
Review Source:Stumbled across this place (not literally, mind you, but close enough) during their pre-opening 'friends and family' party.
Well, I was neither friend nor family, but they made me feel like both.
It's a small place, at least for now. Â Chatted with the owner a bit, and I guess there's an abandoned dance studio next door that he's in negotations to take over. Â Plans are then to demo the wall between the two and expand accordingly.
Right now...it's small. Â Maybe a 70-80 person max capacity (I'm totally guessing, just a hunch, but I'm probably not far off. Â It's in a strip mall on the south side of 13 mile just East of Groesbeck. Â Lots of Italians in the place (the owner's Italian, "friends and family", so go figure), and it reminded me of my old family reunions back in the day. Â Jukebox is operational, as are the flat screen tv's to catch a game. Â Pricing on the drinks is solid, and he's got what's shaping up to be a really great menu and kitchen staff running.
Waitresses and bartender were easy on the eyes ifyouknowwhati'msayin'.
Limited parking in the front, but there's a huge lot in the back, as well as an entrance back there so it's not an issue at all.
Honestly, it's a "neighborhood" bar, and so set your expectations accordingly. Â Personally, I really like the vibe and feel of the place, and plan on making it a regular stop. Â I'll update when the expansion/renovation has been completed.
