I do not mind a bar tender training and I can understand mistakes. However, taking three dollars for a 2.50 beer on a Saturday and not bring back the .50 is a shame especically when you saw her put it in the tip charge. This a another newbie and not Sus the regular person. If this is how they run a business than it is off to Skippers. At least the wait staff does not try to rip you off.
Review Source:A little dive located on the water, bar on one side, restaurant on the other. Â Another place needing a renovation. Â I had the seafood platter, steamed shrimp, clams, mussels...portions were slim. Â Think I had 4 shrimp, few muscles and clams. Â I had to hit McDonald's to fill me up.
Review Source:In Defense of Happy Harbor, I have to say they do a really good breakfast on weekends. Sometimes lunch is great. Â But you don't go for the food. Â You go there for the DRAMA of South County. Always someone breaking up and crying, men parading around in their baseball hats and new vulgar t-shirts stretched over round beer bellies. AND this is where the fishing boats dock if you are going on a charter. Historically a place of racial slurs, motorcycles and dirty bathrooms, if you want to go fishing and like to talk about boats and fishing, you're at the right place.
