Hardee's Restaurants

Always been in love with Hardee's breakfast. This one doesn't disappoint. Unfortunately they recently started advertising that they serve breakfast until 11am when what they should say is 10:45.  I called at 10:50 to be told I had a grace period until 11:05. When I showed up there were a lot of unhappy customers storming off at 10:55. I was also told they were out of breakfast food until I mentioned that I had called. Then I was served breakfast, and rightfully so!

This review concerns breakfast. I agree with Bradford to some extent, however, not with Matt (nothing personal Matt). Hardees has excellent biscuits - even going up against full service restaurants. Not only are they good, but they are big! My favorites are the loaded omelet and the basic sausage and egg. I'm not a fan of their version of biscuits and gravy. And the coffee is....well...hot.

Unseasonably warm weather + Freshly waxed car = Sunday night cruise. Gluten-free Girl remembered how much she likes the lettuce-wrapped thickburgers at Busch Stadium, so we ventured to the local Hardees. We waited a while for the burgers to come off the grill, therefore service was not quite as fast as some drive-through experiences. But, for road food, this was a good burger.
