A friend turned me onto this hidden gem and I'm very glad that he did.
I had their signature "Harmony Burger" which came with a pile of JoJo's (tots or fries available too) for less than $7.00. It was on par with most of the $10 burgers out there that Portland is falling for - 1/3 lb burger piled high with a fried egg, thick slices of bacon, ham, and other standard offerings.
The portion was great, especially for the price. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. Personally, I think was better than Five Guys' (up the street) and for less money too, when you factor in the fries.
They have sweet weekly specials; on Mondays, you can grab a Harmony burger with side and a beer for $6.
I have to agree with KENPO, stay away from this place. I was just there last night to have a couple drinks with a few friends, and I found the bartender to be VERY rude. The DJ guy with the beard is really cool, but Sherry needs to be fired. Quite frankly I won't set foot in this place again until they hire a new bar tender. The last thing I or anyone else wants to deal with when you're trying to have a good time is a down right MEAN bartender.
Review Source:I'll give almost anything three shots. Â This place had its third and final shot. Â
The bartender Sherry is inattentive, even when it's slow. Â Last time I was there, they had the COOK tearing up the floor where people were trying to play pool and the stage area where people were supposed to be able to sing.
I sat there anyway, after all, I liked the Karaoke host. Â I sat there until the concrete dust and high pitched squeal from the equipment the cook was using to tear up the floor got to me. Â
I found the manager, Mike I think his name was, and complained about this. Â He looked me in the eye, and promptly, without saying anything to me, went to the wall to play a game. Â WOW. Â Ignored by the bartender and the manager. Â
This place is REALLY a dive.
I did go back another time, and CANDY the bartender was great. Â Just a side note.
