I have lived on the outskirts of Atlantic City for 5 years and am well versed in what the night life has to offer. Â Haven is a whole new ball game. Â A professional, and very good looking staff, dedicated to ensuring each guest enjoys their experience at the club. Â I will be back at Haven before I return to Mixx or Dusk.
I highly recommend checking it out. Â We had great hosts that were extremely accommodating!
Haven is further from the rest because it's in Golden Nugget, but it's worth the trouble. It's new, and though not huge, much bigger than mixx and murmur (which by the way, suck.). I was at Haven for Dash Berlin saturday and I could'nt have been happier. My friend, being the party animal that he is, had us hooked up with a steep discount at the DJ booth table to the left of Dash Berlin all night. How did it feel to be in arms distance from my favorite vocal trance DJ, away from the crowd pushing and shoving? Words can't even explain. They also had decent ventilation, and a nice smoking and gambling area when we needed a break from the hard bass on the dance floor. One thing that I hated was the fact that the bathroom was literally on the other end of the VIP tables. Sigh, I wish they made life a little easier for the bladders of the people doing bottle service =P.
Review Source:Haven is the newbie in Atlantic City (only opened MWW) and the experience was quite different from other places we have been to: there is ample dancing space, plenty of dancer entertainment and non-stop dance hits. Â This is the place to go if you want to "just dance," but their decor and setup really deserves a mention as well, showing signs of clear swank. Â
Great roped-off VIP areas where you won't be bothered by the other club goers. Â Still expensive to go (I think $20 if you are not on the guest list) and the drinks can get quite pricey. Â I deducted one star because the DJ cut out 30 seconds into my FAVORITE dance song. Â Werd up, Mister Deejay, never cut out on Danza Kuduro!
A visit is definitely recommended. Â Don't forget to bring your swagger.
Haven is the newest club in AC.I got on the guest list Saturday night. You catch an elevator down to the club area. Haven has multiple bars and stages for dancers. The dancers swing from poles, ropes, and latters. The dancers did a great job performing. Some of the dancers flexibility was priceless. Haven has a private area for smokers or non smokers. In the private area you can gamble (blackjack & slots) or relax by the fire pit. I thought the private area was a good feature to the club. I relaxed in the private area once I got tired from dancing. The guest DJ played a good mix of music (modern, house, and old). There is cool kiosks in the club where you can take pictures of yourself for free. The picture machine has the Haven sign and club background. You can email or add the pictures on social media from the kiosk. I haven't seen a club in Atlantic City with a picture kiosk for customers (free). The club layout and lighting is really cool. Haven is modern and clean (bathrooms are well maintained). The staff was professional. The club has a Las Vegas feel and appeal. Do yourself a favor and checkout Haven. Haven is located inside of the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. I give Haven Nightclub a 4.5 rating.
Review Source:dope spot in AC! finally some place new to go to in the area...
here's the description they were giving to the press:
"Upon entering from the casino floor, guests will descend into Haven via two escalators into the luxurious 12,000 square foot space designed to offer a unique atmosphere that will engage all your senses. Directly across, a state of the art DJ booth featuring a Function One sound system throughout the nightclub sits in front of an LED video wall, state-of-the-art lighting systems and special effects throughout the venue set the stage for unique performance artists and dancers to engage and entertain the crowd. The main dance floor sits at the center of the room, surrounded by 25 rich leather banquettes offering signature table service and two full service bars."
to sum it up...
-the place is HUGE like double the size of Mur. Mur
-the big @$$ LED screen is right on trend and exactly what clubs need these days
-graffiti guns and mist/fog guns~ check!
-hot dancers in lady gaga outfits~ check!
-acrobatic lady swinging up on the ceiling hanging by a rope~ sweeeeet!
def check this place out when you're in the area-- for the same cover price as borgata's clubs, i would choose haven over them. and let's not talk about HQ.. that's outrageously expensive on sat. Â it's not even comparable.
The type of hot spot you wouldn't expect to find at the Golden Nugget. Â Maybe it's just the stigma of the old Trump Marina property that used to occupy this space.
The Haven is an amazingly done night club in what used to be the "bus lobby" of the casino. Â When you enter the area, you won't be able to tell what this place used to be.
The club is nicely laid out with adequate area for flow, dancing, and VIP seating. Â With bars to the rear right and left at the establishment, there is adequate space to get a beverage while visiting.
There is an enclosed outside area where you can smoke, chill, or gamble. Â They have 3 blackjack tables, several Playboy slots, and gas fire pits to sit around to stay warm.
Overall, a classy place and worth the trip to Golden Nugget to check out. Â This is another example of Landry's investment in this property to make it competitive with other clubs and casinos in the Marina District and Atlantic City.
