    My wife was skeptical, but my country instincts did me right. I got an Angus burger, wife had country fried steak. Some good home cooking here. Waitstaff was friendly, a few locals were in for lunch as well. Prices are great too, 17 bucks for lunch for 2

    Edible, but no longer our first choice.  There are several other places in town that are terrific, so when we talk about where to go for brunch, the Hen House never really comes up anymore.
