Fast efficient service. Clean. Had my first horseshoe here passing through on my regular trip between KC and Chicago. Good but not great. had the ham with spicy white cheese sauce. Too many fries for me. I'll probably try at least one more before I move to somewhere else. This location is perfectly on my route.
Review Source:The food was cheap price-wise and quality-wise. The pancakes, sausages, eggs and French toast were literally of the kind you could whip up in a few minutes at home. To top it off, they don't even give you butter--instead you get a vegetable-oil-based spread served in those little single-serving cup containers. Gross.
Review Source:Since we moved to this side of town, we needed a new place to get breakfast on the weekends. Â We gave Sgt. Peppers Cafe a try, and we've been hooked ever since! Â They do perfect eggs, their bacon is lean and crispy and they have a breakfast horseshoe that is fantastic - we definitely recommend it.
There are a several good breakfast places in Springfield, but they all have a habit of overusing butter. Â Sgt. Peppers does not and since I'm trying to watch what I eat these days, I appreciate that. Â Service is also very friendly and prompt, and they keep the place clean.
Definitely give them a try!
