Stumbled into this place during my first night in Tulsa. Place was empty, 30 minutes later it was packed!

Sat at the bar to enjoy the oh-so-amazing vinyl collection, signature mixed drinks, coffee and cheese...

oh-if-they only-served-it-with-real-bread (sigh) [I would give them a 5 out of 5] instead the awful hard I don't even know how to call it -thing- that came with my plate! I guess I'll carry a large bag with a baguette-to -share next time I stop by for a drink...or two ;)

    Oh là là c'est formidable!

Hodges Bend was one of the must-see coffeehouses that my Tulsan friend told me about when I first moved here. When I finally got around to pay it a visit, my only regret was that I waited so long to check it out.

It isn't just a coffeehouse, but also a cocktail lounge. Their coffee is just like it's supposed to be: robust. Its taste and aroma is enjoyable without any sugar or cream (that would ruin it!). My favorite is the Ethiopian. If you order a latte, you'll be pleasantly surprised by their skillful latte art.

Their cocktails are classic. Within ten seconds of perusing the libation menu, one can clearly notice that they've been carefully and creatively concocted and chosen. The variety includes rare white, sparking and red wines, as well as creative signature drinks.

As far as food accompaniments, they have a good selection of yummy pastries (hello banana muffin! hey there mocha cupcake!), as well as cheese and charcuterie boards.
Lastly, let's talk about its brilliant ambiance. The place is strategically decorated and designed. The marble bar grabs your attention as soon as you walk in, followed by a black trunk that is quite a unique piece. The bottle chandeliers and tufted sofas add a fancy yet cozy feel that go perfectly with the jazz music they play. They also have patio seating and live music. I always feel sophisticated when I'm here; as others have previously mentioned, it has a 20s vibe to it.

The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because the employees are not as consistent as they should be. Sometimes they're great and it all goes smoothly with no glitches, but depending on who's there,  sometimes it is a bit  lacking, leaving it up to me to deliberately grab their attention and make things happen. Regardless, awesome place to go!

This place could be anywhere on earth.....seems European in vibe.  Great people, great beer and wine, great coffee and great atmosphere. Fantastic collection of jazz vinyl. Classy yet relaxed. Well done. Cheers !

Really neat/unique place for Tulsa.  Prices are a bit steep, but you are paying for high quality.  A cool spot to take out of towners/date.

    Straight up SWANKY. 'Nuff said.

But seriously, awesome ambiance puts you back in early 20th century. Their vinyl collection of jazz complements the mood and their drinks are tasty. I recommend going here for a drink or two to finish off the night. Drinks are pricey, so I try not to spend my entire night here.

You walk in and feel like you are in a different era. Seriously one of the coolest places I have ever been in (I've been to London, Berlin,  Australia, China, Thailand, Vegas etc). The coffee is great (Topeca). They really care about what they are doing and seem to take a lot of pride in it.

Good but the large coffee is very small. If I want 2 cups of coffee, I would have to pay $8 plus a tip.  That's like buying lunch.

Are you an enthusiast for greatness and quality?

Hodges Bend has the distinguished yet not snobby vibe that will make you feel like a million bucks with their zest for drinks.

Located in downtown Tulsa, you can put on sneakers and run over for the always tasty local Topeca coffee in the morning/ afternoon. Or, perhaps sit and work with the inspiring atmosphere and a glass of wine. The mood is set to uplift with a vintage bar complete with records and antique speakers spinning some soulful jazz. There are booths and table spaces with wondrous natural lighting, making for an exceptionally comfortable experience.

As night falls, you can put on your snazzy style and be in good company while enjoying a hand-crafted cocktail, glass of wine or coffee.

This establishment is all about imbibing.

Coffee is one of those things where it's easy and almost acceptable for it to have poor quality. When it's made well, it should be sweet. Hodges Bend is dedicated to making sure the consumer is provided with high quality coffee, therefore sugar and milk is not provided.

There are two coffee experts as well as two sommeliers on staff.

    Stay imbibed, my enthusiast friends.
