Homestyle Cafe

I grew up watching Alice and this place reminds me of Mel's Diner. It has that old school look and feel. The food is great. When you go there you see the regulars sitting around just talking like they did on Mel's diner and everyone is friendly.
The funny part is it use to be ran by Americans, and now the Chinese own it and they kept it the same. The owner always smiles at you and nods her head, and i always find myself wanting to ask her if she knows someone who sews, maybe one day i will ask her?
The part i hate is "I hate raw onions" it seems like i always go when they are cutting onions or something, when i get my sandwich i can always taste the onions and i take it back. America the land of the Free
