This is a unique restaurant, and I am so happy to live so close. This restaurant truly supports the idea of community, and regularly hosts College Park interest groups and the farmers market.
I go here frequently, and every dish I've tried is fresh and delicious. The Concorde wrap is great, but my favorite is the mushroom quesadilla. My husband (eats meat every chance he can) craves this dish.
Additionally, the staff are helpful and polite. They make guests feel welcome and easily answer questions and give recommendations.
Thanks, Infusion for offering such healthy meals to College Park.
Went for lunch after spa date. Â It was very nice and cozy. Â The food ,Quiche(4 cheeses) and uptown apple salad, part of the pick 2 was delicious and both seasoned very well. The ice tea of the day was a Vanilla favored, very different but nice. Â I did not have time to browse all the teas they have but I will be back.
Nice place to relax, unwind and not feel rushed.
I am a carnivore. Â I had lunch here with my sisters and really enjoyed our meal. Â I didn't even miss the meat, which is unusual for me! Â We had the Milton salad, the goat cheese pizza, and the cucumber tea sandwich. Â I liked all three, but my favorite was the tea sandwich. Â The bean salad that came with it was delicious! Â It was not a place I would normally go, but I am actually excited to go back.
Review Source:What can I say about Infusion Tea.....
It's all about tea and I love that! I am not a coffee drinker so to have this hip and cool place just for tea drinkers is awesome! There are so many teas to choose from sometimes its over whelming.....sometimes I just go with my standard...chai latte because it's my safe go to drink. Sometimes I'm adventuresome and go crazy and try the iced tea of the day.
I have to say it's been awhile since i've been here and I was a little sad to see that the co-op artsy side has changed. It used to be so cool to walk around and shop for eclectic gifts for friends or myself. Now it's smaller and not as much stuff...and it all kind of looked the same. I used to want to buy quite a few thing here but only found 1 thing yesterday....
Anyway, enough about the art side of Infusion Tea back to why I'm reviewing this great tea shop....
It's a great spot to meet a friend for tea, lunch or ice cream. They have such great little goodies, like handmade marshmallows on the counter.
I was there to have tea and took a peek in the ice cream case and they looked delicious. I noticed lots of Vegan choices. Which surprised me. I do want to check them out next time....even though I'm not Vegan I enjoy checking out flavor profiles for school.
If you have time get a chair massage it's worth it!
I want to love this place.....but, you can't advertise as vegan/veg friendly and throw attitude to a guest when they ask if you have vegan desserts. One employee said "it's labeled"
One said "the signs are wrong but they're vegan". I was done at that point. They were the most unfriendly bunch ever. I thought us earth savers were supposed to be nice? Part 2 do not sit at a high top and look at the light fixtures. They were beyond-dusty and so was the serving plates. I see you're  busy so congrats but I won't be back. I visioned myself yelling "corporate sell outs, posers" but I refrained.
Having recently moved here from Doral, Florida (by Miami) where the idea of vegetarian makes most residents confused, angry, smirk or laugh and make fun of you, having a place a block away that has vegetarian options makes me very happy. Â I now don't have to worry about picking from a lard based Latin menu trying to find something to eat.
We had been very excited with the reviews and on our second day in the area strolled over for something to eat. Â We are also huge tea fans and found out that we can find Hierba Mate here too.
It is very cute and we managed to hit it at a time where the "ladies who lunch" crowd were in. Â
We didn't know what to order so we decided to have a couple of things from the lunch menu were you can choose two 1/2 size portions. Â This way we could try a couple of different options.
I had 1/2 the Avocado wrap and Chili, my daughter had the Quiche and Broccoli and Cheese soup. Â Everything we had was delicious, including the teas (one was Mango and the other I forgot the name but it was citrusy). Â
The soup and the Chili were quite tasty, I loved both, almost took my daughters soup from her, it was zesty and delicious. Â We came for dessert last night - one gelatto and one piece of cake $10. Â
I can't wait to go for another meal, although I found it slightly pricey for the portion sizes. Â Not too much so, but enough that I will try other options once and a while.
Free WiFi? Â Thank you very much.
First time eating a vegan restaurant but I would come back. I tried the portobello mushroom sandwich which was better than I expected. The tea choices can be a little intimidating for an amateur tea drinker. Word of advice, don't turn the tea stepper upside because your guaranteed to make mess.... (You know who I'm talking about)
Review Source:Serving NON VEGETARIAN cheeses. I've mentioned this before on their facebook so that they could remedy this OUTRAGEOUS error as they claim to be vegetarian. I was just informed today that all their cheeses have rennet. They also sell marshmallows made locally, Infusion claims they are made with vegetarian gelatin however the local makers say that is not so, as I called them directly.
Buyer beware always, however to claim you are vegetarian when you are not is not right. Just Make choices that are honest, Infusion.
I Wanted to leave the whole subject alone as they are a small business, but the hostility that I am met with as I even dare to inquire about the ingredients in their food when I am trying to order leads me to believe they knew they weren't vegetarian and just don't care.
I have been to the Fusion Tea Room on Edgewater Dr. several times, and each time, it has been very marginal, this will be my last trip. Â Today I took a friend of mine for the set tea that they offered through Living Social, and it was a total rip off even with the coupon. Â On our tea tray was one strawberry, cut in half, one scone, cut in half, which I had to request one that was not burned, one other non-descript nut bread (also over baked) and four little tea sandwiches, and two very small cookies. Â All of this marginal fare was washed down with a pitcher of iced tea (which was good), which supposedly goes for $42.00 when not offered by Living Social. Â The service is marginal at best (lots of hipsters working, not very friendly), and the women's bathroom has been filthy each time I have visited Fusion Tea Room. Â That this place was busy and gets good reviews is beyond me. Â I won't be back.
Review Source:Simple vegetarian fare to go with tea. I had a pizza and it was really small; much more like a snack than a meal. My grandmother had a quesadilla, which was quite large; and my mom had a good-sized salad, so most portions seem adequate. The prices were reasonable and the tea selection seemed good; unfortunately I don't care for tea so I didn't try any. The only beverages they have are tea, lemonade, or water.
I was happily surprised that parking was pretty easy even at 1:00 on a Saturday, and they weren't terribly busy. Lots of gift shop-y art stuff on one side of the store; not my demographic, really, but nice local flavor.
I don't know that I'd choose to return here, but that's a lot more about this place just not being my style than any issues I had with food/atmosphere/service.
We all know that eating a healthy diet is good for you, but sometimes a "good" diet doesn't always taste so great. Â I enjoy that I can get some good eats from Infusion Tea, and not only are they a healthier choice but they taste pretty darn good too.
This local eatery located in the College Park neighborhood is much more than a tea shop. Â Yes there is a decent selection of organic teas to choose from, but the foods they offer are just as impressive. Â
I like that the restaurant is bright and cheery. Â You'll find a number of tables along with a couple of sofas to sit back and relax. Â While you're waiting for your tea you can browse the local handicrafts displayed in the store. Â They also have a patio out front which is a nice place to sit and enjoy their weekly Sunday Brunch Market. Â
Infusion Tea is my favorites spot to get some veggie dishes. Â While I enjoy meat I also enjoy going veggie when I can. Â Not many places can pull off tasty vegetarian options, but Infusion Tea does a great job in doing so. Â The menu has a lot of nice options with salads, wraps, pizzas, and sandwiches, but I always end up going with a panini. Â I've been a few times and have enjoyed all the tasty menu items I've tried.
With over fifty teas to choose from I always enjoy getting one of the iced teas of the day. Â They are flavorful and you get refills with your glass.
If you're looking for a sweet treat they have a great selection that changes daily from the Chocolate Provocateur. Â While I've never tried any of these treats they do look amazing! Â Maybe you aren't looking to indulge in a dessert, but perhaps a chair massage is your type of treat? Take 5 Massage offers chair massage from noon-4pm Tuesday through Friday.
Enjoy a stroll around College Park and stop in for some lunch or a nice glass of iced tea to cool you off. Â Infusion Tea is a nice local eatery worth checking out.
Just discovered this little gem and I am so delighted it's close to me. The tea was awesome and the food was delicious. The cafe is quite big, compared to the surrounding shops/restaurants. It is cozy and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great! Don't leave without grabbing a sweet, the gelato was a light & fluffy goodness! Will definitely be back!
Review Source:AMAZING TEA. Oh my tea, and such a huge selection too. I wish I could stand there all day and ask them about all their teas, but the people behind would probably kill me. lol. I'm not too big a fan of their food, however. There's nothing wrong with it; I'm just a dedicated omnivore. Meaning, I like a little bit of meat with my veggies. So it's me, not them. xD
I came in with a friend for their Afternoon Tea. It had been awhile since I'd had a real tea time, so I was excited. I was looking forward to their scones and cream; especially their cream, which I thought would be the traditional tea-time treat, clotted cream. When their three-tiered tray came out, everything looked amazing! It was fresh- and delectable-looking. The tray came with cookies, three types of tea sandwiches, scones, and sweet breads. Everything turned out well initially, the tea, sandwiches, and cookies were great! We had chosen white strawberry tea; the flavor was wonderfully light and refreshing. The sandwiches tasted great and really filled us up, considering how small they were; and the cookies and sweet breads were a good treat. Unfortunately, the scones and cream really disappointed me; especially since they were the main reason I'd wanted to do tea time in the first place. The scones were burnt, hard, and stale-tasting. Thinking I could mask the flavor, I smeared it with the cream, only to find out they had provided us with cream cheese instead of clotted. Normally, I'm a fan of cream cheese, but the disappointment really hit hard. xD
I've also gone in a couple times after and tried their Lunch Combo (select two of the following: Â 1/2 salad, Â 1/2 soup, Â 1/2 tea sandwich, Â 1/2 wrap) with their Daily Tea. It was good, and I felt so healthy eating it. But as soon as I left the shop, I was hungry again. lol.
Service here is good. They definitely know their stuff and they're super attentive. I've noticed the rapport they have with their regulars as well.
With their free wi-fi, I suppose you could get some work done at Infusion Tea, but I don't think I could. lol. The atmosphere feels very much like a cute little cafe or shop; so while I would shop there and lunch there, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable spreading out my books and settling down for hours of study.
I didn't know about this place until a Living Social deal caught my interest. The deal got me the BF a pot of tea (we tried Happy Tummy, quite tasty) and a 3-tiered sampler platter.
So we got to try a few tea sandwiches like cucumber and egg salad (I think) which were good, and a few scones which I thought were delicious (with and without jam and cream cheese)
It was all followed up with a small (which is still large to me!) scoop of gelato. Pretty good.
I would recommend this place for a -light meal-, or any tea lovers of course. The selection is huge. The space is large enough but still cozy. There were a couple larger tables with a baby shower party and still it wasn't crowded.
The staff was friendly and made us laugh. The place was clean enough, not spotless, but nothing that was a deal breaker (it was also the very end of the day). I noticed wine and coffee were also available but I did not try either.
We did buy some local honey though :) Would return!
I've been to Infusion quite a few times with friends and family. I do think they have good tea and use high quality ingredients. I like how they have stevia and local honey on the table...something that most restaurants (even healthy ones in the area) do not have.
However, the food I've had has been from inedible to okay to good. The tempeh for the taco salad is EXTREMELY salty, so much so that I am not able to eat more than a few pieces. Some of the desserts have a strange aftertaste although I am a fan of the carrot cake (just not the price!). The hummus was also very salty, but has been toned down since I've come back. The mediterranean pizza is also quite salty. I just do not think that the spices are used well. Some of the dishes such as the Milton Special salad or their panins are fresh and good.
My biggest complaint about Infusion is really the service and attitude of the people there. My first visit there was with a rude girl who simply took my order and scoffed when I used a coupon since it was my first visit. I have gone back with friends and family and they also have agreed that the service and friendliness is not on the level of friendliness at restaurants like Dandelion or Black Bean Deli nearby. There are some nice servers there sometimes who don't have attitude, but usually, I do not encounter them. I really believe that the staff's friendliness is important for these type of restaurants. This is why I choose Black Bean Deli or Dandelion 5X more often than Infusion.
It's still worth a go...just don't order items with salty ingredients (hummus, taco tempeh) and get a nice server hopefully who won't roll their eyes if you ask for a refill on the tea of the day (and I only get one refill).
Pleasant, relaxing & yummy experience without costing a pretty penny.
SERVICE
Top notch! Although you order at the counter and seat yourself, they will wait on you for refills or other items you need. Food usually comes out very quickly. They are very attentive even when busy.
ENVIRONMENT
Cute but elegant, cozy but not too small, lots of natural light without being too bright, and local art & hand-made jewelry on display and for sale. Free wifi makes it a great place to hang out all day if you work remotely.
LOOSE LEAF TEAS
I have purchased a few of these and have been pleased with most of them. I get the impression that they could be a little bit more vigilant with how they store their teas long-term. I say this because my only complaint with any of the teas is that they could have a stronger flavor.
* Blueberry white tea was memorable,
* Monk's blend (notes of cherry and vanilla) was amazing
* Mary's darjeeling was just okay (maybe they don't sell enough of it? seemed a little lacking in flavor - I prefer stronger teas).
*Green tea latte - quite interesting, very green in color, I believe it is made with matcha. A little grassy-tasting but if you love a strong green tea flavor, this is for you.
*Orange flower oolong - Not too orangey/citrusy and not too floral - perfect subtle balance of both while the tea is not overpowered.
*Pineapple bliss green tea - delicious iced!
*Almond amaretto - yummy with half & half but I wish the flavors were stronger
* Many others - I can't remember all of the teas I've tried, but I don't remember one I didn't like.
FOOD
Not into tea? Come for the food! There is a wide selection of unique sandwiches, paninis, quiches, pizzas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, soups and salads... and all with a gourmet, yet simple and homemade feel. Plenty of options for the vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free patrons. It's hard to describe the feeling of clean-ness I feel after eating the food here... like I did something truly good for my body and soul.
* Seasonal menu - always a great selection and always yummy.
* Avocado delight wrap - soooo refreshingly tasty, even for a non-vegan.
* Egg salad sandwich - so yummy!
* 4-Cheese quiche - best quiche I have ever had. Rich and cheesy but tastes homemade and natural.
* Milton's salad - spring mix with tomato, cucumber, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, hummus, balsamic vinaigrette, and some kind of quinoa tabbouleh? So nourishing.
* Scones - so good. I love the mango and black cherry. They are a bit sweeter than the traditional English variety, but that's something most of us Americans are used to. Served warm and toasty with a traditional thick cream to melt over the top.
* Afternoon Tea for Two - Tea and scones with tea sandwiches and cookies served on a three-tier platter - have to try it once! It's a bit carb-heavy and sweet so I would say to be hungrier than you normally would for a light snack with tea.
* Tea sandwiches - I love all 3 varieties but the herbed cream cheese is definitely my favorite. Perfectly suited for a light snack with tea (not a meal). If you don't want the full afternoon tea, I would just get these.
PRICE
I love that it's not too expensive - lunch specials are $8.50 and most items are less than $15. The tea is a bit more expensive if you want to take some home, but there are always deals! Yelp has the best one, but there are frequently deals for Infusion on Google Offers and Groupon, too.
OVERALL
If you love tea, come here. If you love great healthy food, come here. If you like a cool environment with free wifi, come here. If you crave an escape to a fancy tea room but don't want to drive that far, this is your best bet in Orlando!
This was my second time coming here. The first visit I used a Groupon for Tea for 2 which gave a lovely selection and tea sandwiches, scones, cookies, an of course tea. Â I actually brought my parents with me so this was really enough for 3 as a nice snack. I loved herbal sweet teas so they suggested Hibiscus Berry and that was pretty good. The food stood out with amazing flavor, though. This brings me to my current visit that I brought a friend with me. I ordered the lunch combo with 1/2 a Mediterranean Tea sandwich and a piece a 4-cheese quiche. They were both so yummy. I had a cup of the same tea and I noticed it came out better this time. I think more tea leaves were used (I like a stonge flavor). All in all, I will be visiting again.
Review Source:I had a nice lunch here with my bestie. We sat outside because it was a gorgeous Orlando day.
I got a wrap with avocado, hummus, and sprouts. And the peach ginger iced tea. (Free iced tea with Yelp check-in, btw). And you can get refills on the tea. That was a nice surprise for the drive home.
I felt healthy eating there. My friend is kind of obsessed with this place right now so she took me. It was super cute. I enjoyed it.
First I must say that I was looking forward to visiting infusion since a friend of mine is a regular and says great things about the place. Under normal circumstances I'm sure it is.
It was pretty crowded but not hard to find a parking spot. My friend had a groupon for the tea for 2 service, and as soon as it was our turn, the man at the counter very simply, rudely, and loudly stated that he just needed to know what kind of tea we wanted (earl grey), gave us our table marker, and informed us to find a seat.
Very very rude.
The tea was nice, and the sandwiches were good, but I was annoyed to find out that the scones were hard and burnt. Given the fact that so far the staff seemed rude (with the exception of one girl who cleared our outdoor table), I decided not to complain and just enjoy the beautiful day and conversation with my companion. My mind was made up though, I don't think I'll be visiting infusion tea again. I would not subject myself to such horrible staff in a place that is supposed to be peaceful.
Their catering manager, Gina, is phenomenal. In planning an anniversary party for our shop, another local cafe/bakery fell through and let us down in a huge way. The afternoon before the party we were left without any food! Despite their standard 24 hour notice, Gina and the pastry chef were able to get us dozens and dozens of pastries by 10am the next morning, and under budget at that!
I cannot say enough about the phenomenal service. They saved the day for us. They were professional, friendly, and willing to do anything they could to make our event a success.
Not to mention, this is my first time using Infusion Tea in any aspect and I'm impressed with everything. The pastries were delicious and everyone has raved about them so far (creme puffs, cookies, and cupcakes...strawberry and a dulce de leche I believe were the flavors in my "chef's choice" assortment). In picking up the goods, I was pleasantly surprised by the ample parking and fun decor. There is even a retail section in the restaurant that sells some locally made art, some baby items, and other things (I didn't get to take a big peek). The dining area was simple, but inviting with a nice outdoor seating area, too. The young man that rang up my order was also very friendly.
I'm definitely looking forward to working with them in the future, as well as coming back with my family to try some of their more savory menu items!
The tempeh chili is to die for. Â let's just get that out of the way. Â very few things in MCO are as good as this chili, chock full of tempeh, beans, tomatoes and other goodness. Â it's not spicy in the least, instead opting for a sweet chili flavor. Â on a cold day, mixing the tempeh chili with a hot earl grey can be just the thing the doctor ordered.
infusion symbolizes college park for me. Â trendy and local, chock full of crafts; a menu that caters heavily to the vegetarian and vegan, it's the kind of place that says to me, "this is a neighborhood i would want to live in."
the best part about it is, even though everything about it should scream "hipster pretentiousness" (which, i ain't gonna lie, i enjoy) it manages instead to create a homey, family feel....mainly as a result of the art expo space, which typically displays homey crafts; as well as the interior, which is done in warm pastels with very comfortable and warm furniture.
the menu couldn't be better for a veagn; we've already talked about the tempeh chili, and the tempeh tacos are also spectacular and loaded with a very good vegan sour cream, which one doesn't find very often.
if you are a tea lover, the place has a selection so vast that sometimes it's hard to order. Â someone who knows about tea could probably comment better than me on the quality, but i've never had a bad cup of tea there.
i say go and go often.
Wide selection of very good teas.
My husband and I came in for the afternoon pastries and pot of tea. Â The staff was very helpful in advising us and we selected a rare white peony that was stunningly good.
That good iin the opinion of the reviewer who usually prefers wine.
I put some local honey in the first cup (because I was not yet a believer) but drank it  unaltered for the rest of the pot. Â
People are nice.  Bakery, gelato and healthy lunch items menu  give you a variety of choices.
Relatively near Leu Gardens in case you want to go for a beautiful walk after tea.
We will definitely be back.
Me: So, I think I might be coming down with a cold.
Infusion Tea Person (ITP): Oh, we have a tea called Cold Comfort that would be perfect.
Me: Wait, it's seriously called "Cold Comfort"?
ITP: Yep! Smells and tastes kind of funky but it'd make you feel better!
It really did.
At another time,
Me: So, my stomach's feeling rather unsettled. Any suggestions?
ITP: Yes, we have a tea called Happy Tummy.
Me: No way! It's really called that?!
ITP: Yep! It's great!
It really was great.
I don't think I need to go to the doctor anymore. Kidding.
But this place is seriously amazing. For tea.
They still haven't quite won me over yet in terms of food, but their tea selection is amazing. For the most part, service has also been great (if only I could remember their names) and the place have been clean.
Infusion Tea is definitely my favorite place to get some delicious tea. Especially when I'm actually feeling well.
Infusion Tea
By Anna-Marie on September 4, 2012 | Edit
Editor's note: Â Chad and I visited Infusion Tea last month before I started my September 30-day No Bread Challenge. Â So far, only 4 days into the No Bread Challenge and I have only messed up once- more on that later....for now enjoy our adventures at this organic teahouse....
Orlando is a very well-rounded culinary mecca.  We have restaurants that cater to every type of cuisine from around the world.  One of the newest trends here in town is the popularity of  organic "teahouses".  I am not sure how to categorize this trend but there are three places I can think of in Orlando that serve up not only a huge selection of teas, but they also cater to the vegan/vegetarian crowd with their food.
    Â
Chad and I love this place called Infusion Tea in the College Park neighborhood just north of downtown Orlando. Â You can order from a huge list of all kinds of tea - from black tea to white tea to rooibos to everything in between. Â You can order a pot of hot tea and enjoy some cucumber tea sandwiches. Â You can order a glass of iced tea and enjoy one of their organic items on the food menu. Â Everyday brings a quiche, a soup and a hot and cold tea as the daily feature. Â (Hint: Â If you "check-in" on Yelp you will receive a complimentary glass of the iced tea of the day).
    Â
And if you order the hot tea you have a "timer" on your table that will tell you when your tea is done steeping if you want it light, medium or strong. Â (They sell these cute little timers for about $15 right at the counter).
So while the tea is great, they also serve a great selection of healthy sandwiches, soups and salads. Â I had the white gazpacho soup and the goat cheese pizza. Â A delicious combination......the tangy goat cheese and the sweetness of the gazpacho really went well together.
    Â
On a previous visit, Chad and I got their lunch combo special. Â I ordered the avocado delight wrap with the Milton Special salad (organic field greens, roasted beets, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, hummus and tabouleh).
Chad ordered the veggie and hummus sandwich and the roasted pear salad. Â Wow- that salad was terrific- the salad was topped off with these pecan crisp crackers and caramelized pears.
The space itself is very eclectic- while you are waiting for your food to be prepared you can stroll around the store located right in the dining area. Â On Thursday nights you can find some of the local food trucks and merchants out in the parking lot. Â On a recent visit Chad and I made, we enjoyed a frozen organic popsicle and a German chocolate Vegan cupcake after dinner.
        Â
We just love trying out all these organic vegetarian places - Infusion Tea is one of the great places that is putting Orlando on the healthy food map!!
CHOW ORGANIC!!
Looking to purchase some tea for a friend, I stopped in here with the bf and we decided to grab lunch too. I had purchased a Yelp deal ($10 for $20) and wanted to try this place out.
We started with the small Seasonal Fruit & Cheese Board. It was good to nibble on. I thought it was a little on the pricey side for what you get. Next up we had the Middle Eastern Pizza, which was fantastic. We would definitely order this again and thought it was a much better value. The pizza was baked with eggplant, and loaded with goat and feta cheese and just enough olive oil drizzled on. I skipped dessert, but the bf grabbed a strawberry cupcake and a chocolate turtle. He didn't really care for either one.
The decor was very feminine and charming. The guy who took our order was busy, but very friendly.
After visiting this place couple times in the past 2 years, I want to give it another review!
This is still my favorite tea place in Orlando. I went there this Saturday with my little book, it was quiet around 4 pm, not many people around, which was perfect time to read my book while sipping the Orange Flower Oolong iced tea (free refill too!), it was $2.95 so the price was decent!
Later, my friend joined me and got a cup of hot tea, no refill on that, and it was $3.25. We didn't get any food since we weren't hungry, but I highly recommended the Nut Honey Wrap as I remember how good it tastes and almost get it every time I go there.
We had such a fun time and then ended up tasting different honey bottles from each table since there was literally no others around!! We were the only two in the cafe, it must been very slow or our craziness just scared everyone away! But their organic honey came in different flavors sitting on each table turned us into little kids, tasting honey and giggling!!
It was a lot fun hahaha, and I also discovered a new clay teapot they got there, it was a PIGGY!!!!!!!! I had to tell myself to calm down as soon as I saw it, and reminded myself it was just me lusting over a materialized item, no need to get all excited, and eventually talked myself out of it.
What a fun trip to Infusion, wish I lived closer!
Great place to have a veggie meal and some great tea. My friend treated me to Infusion on a Wednesday for lunch. We ordered the hummus platter to share and I had the chili with the avocado wrap combo. All three items were delicious! I am not vegetarian but I would seriously consider it if I can cook like this. The avocados were ripped, the hummus spices just right, and the chili had a great zing to it. And the tea... oh what a great tea! I'm not sure what was the flavor (they change it on a daily basis I think) but it was great. Plus, you get a refill to take to the office....total plus!
Great place.
I was totally underwhelm by this establishment. First I grew up with my mom concocting all kinds of herbs together to create complicated aromatic teas.
I was under the impression this was going to be a step up to Teavana.
Once you enter this establishment on the left is a table with all kinds of flyers and business cards for the local area business. I'm a bit appalled they will use prime real estate for such endeavor.
To the left is an array of pastry in a case that are hardly enticing, they really need to check how the French does it by watching a few you tube videos of La duree.
I was totally underwhelm by the choices of tea and creativity. for those wondering how creative you can be with Tea, you will need to visit the Tea houses in China which should be on your bucket list.
while dining you can peruse the craft offerings on the right side of the store, there are some kewl gift ideas such as small terrariums, fun towels.
Pro's
it's cute and quaint
Great selections for Vegans
Cons
Lack of creativity for teas
Lack of great selections
Store is poorly design and attributed, tall stand of cards right by the register.
Lack of tasting
I will take Teavana any day for my tea thank you, and only visit here for some Vegan experience.
Enjoy,
Maggie
