Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Great historic building, great music, vino, love the variety of tapas two can enjoy!

Awful service here. I came with a Groupon and they didn't explain what they were doing with it. My waitress kept saying that I hadn't reached my limit so I kept spending money. Then I got my check and they wouldn't apply my groupon to it because it was Tapas Tuesday. I told them they could charge me full price and then apply my Groupon and that would be fair. My Groupon was $25 for $50 worth of food. I spent $53 if you made everything full price, which my Groupon would have covered almost entirely. But they only gave me a small discount and I owed them $20. So I paid $25 for the Groupon and $20 for the meal. It ended up being a rip off, I spent more money, I didn't save ANY money at all. I complained to the waitress got NOTHING. No sympathy, no comping, nothing. It was very infuriating.

Putting the Groupon aside, the waitress only checked on us twice the entire meal. The ceviche had too much lime in it. The tapas were excellent as was the sangria. The atmosphere was nice but it was very loud in the formal dining area.

All in all, customer service sucks here. I used to be a waitress and I would never have done what they did. I would have recommended people and come back. But now I am never going back and I am going to tell people how dishonest they are.

My dad and I stumbled upon Ceviche by chance and it was incredibly busy and fun and has some of the best tapas I have ever had. The paella is to die for.

The service was fabulous. Our waiter suggested some great dishes. The meats were prepared very well and everything was extremely flavorful.

Ceviche is certainly a bumping date night spot. The atmosphere is intimate and the dancing is spicy on a Saturday night. I definitely looked like my Dad's much younger trophy wife when we ate here.
