I love this place on a Monday early evening. It's happy hour (2/1) and $5 flatbread night. They know me now when I come in and Nicole will say, "Mushroom flatbread and the chardonnay?" I don't really like the loud dj they sometimes have at other times and it's WAAAAY too crowded on Sundays. Having said that, it's one of my favorite places close to home.

Really good food, a little pricey but not bad.  Our 8 yr old loves the chicken satay, I love most any appetizer there.  Weather permitting, sitting outside is a lot of fun.

I finally had a chance to stop in at OLV last night. I have heard good things about OLV, especially their Sunday brunch. I really loved the dark wood and stone interior of the dining area. The lights were turned down later in the evening as a jazz band played, setting a more laid back mood for its patrons. OLV also has a great patio for outdoor dining, adding to an eye appealing interior.
As for the food, I was rather disappointed. OLV features tapas, salads, burgers , appetizers, and main courses. Portions are on the small side. I thought I would try a appetizer of fried mahi-mahi, shrimp, calamari, and scallops. The dish came with a red pepper sauce that was on the bland side. The mahi-mahi cubes were cooked properly, but the calamari was overcooked, there were only three pieces of shrimp, and I found only a few scallops. And it costs $14.00.
In all fairness, a lady in our party had the fried chicken and waffles ($16), and she really loved it. A gentleman at our table had the blue crab cakes. Although on the small side, he said that they were really good and had plenty of crab meat.
OLV looks to have an impressive wine list. Wine by the glass, though, can run you $8 and up. Beer is also available. I had Guinness Stout on draft, which ran me $6 for a fourteen ounce glass. That is about average with other dining and drinking establishments.
The service was friendly and helpful, but it appeared to be overwhelmed when the dining area both inside and outside became full. There is plenty of parking available, and close enough for people who live in the surrounding area to walk to.
Like I said, a beautiful interior with a inviting bar. I would recommend this place for drinks before or after dinner. But as far as dinner is concerned, I  would do what one young couple did. Get a pizza from Flipper's across the plaza and bring it in and order drinks.
Or you can do what I did. Hit up Checker's on the way home.
