Third visit to the J Bar in a year - it is still a great place to just relax, enjoy a drink and "celebrity watch" during the Food and Wine Classic. Tried a few items on the menu like the Hummus and Peel and Eat Shrimp (by pound or half pound). Enjoyed their Local Lettuces Salad - loved the warm goat cheese and avocado! The service has always been good whenever we stopped by, but I especially love the interiors. Lots of dark wood, architectural details on the bar, old west chandeliers, tin ceiling tiles and just the over feel of the place.
Review Source:My husband and I had a really great experience here. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had great service at the bar. Ryan makes a great hot toddy and will put together a delicious drink based on your likes and dislikes. The chicken wings are yummy. The crowd at the the time we were there was a mix of tourists and locals, and everyone was really friendly. The decor was Aspen rustic-chic.
Overall, I enjoyed my time at J Bar. I highly suggest this spot for afternoon cocktails.
This used to be my favorite bar. Â Great location, great food, pretty good service. Â Wow! Â what happened? Â J-Bar just reopened after BEAUTIFUL remodel. Â Let's match the remodel with the food and service. Â I want to love you. Â We walked in on Friday and there must have been 5 dirty tables. Â No one looked up and greeted us. Â We left. Â Went back on Wednesday for open house tour. Â Went to J-Bar. Â No one looks up to greet us. Â I stood there for a good few minutes before someone said hello. Â We waited forever for our food. Â We had fish and chips. Â Cole Slaw was salty. Â
Please, please Service, please come to the J-Bar.
