J T's Bbq & Catering

This is one of those mixed reviews I hate to give.

JT's has a great atmosphere for a BBQ joint.  Wooden picnic tables, music playing, order from the counter.  But, of course, BBQ is all about the food.

THE GOOD: Collard Greens.  I'm not much of a veggie kind of guy, but I couldn't get enough of these. No bitterness. Wonderful, tender, and flavorful.  Get them.   Chicken - done just right.  White meat was moist and juicy.

The FAIR: The Sauce.  Only one choice, and it's pretty sweet.  I'd prefer to have more than one choice.

THE UGLY: The Baby Back Ribs.  Mine were small, dry, and almost meatless.  Really, there's no excuse for drying out Baby Backs.  They should be moist and dripping with flavor.  The seasoning was good, but it was like eating jerky.

Maybe I got a bad batch.  The place certainly seemed popular.  You'll have to try for yourself.
