Tarpon Bend Food & Tackle

For a bar, this is the best we've seen. The food isn't just good, its very good. Friday Happy Hour can't be beat! Two for One on nearly everything from 4 to 10. There is a live band that performs for a bit before a DJ takes over. The prices are very fair, the bartenders pour fairly (and don't water down the drinks), and you can't beat the river walk just down the street. It can be romantic and it gives you a chance to sober up for the drive home.

The servers are attentive and friendly. You really are made to feel welcome here.

There's lots of 30- and 40-somethings that make up the clientele, at least on a Friday night. You can park almost across the street for $10 for the night. There is other parking as well, we've just not parked elsewhere.

A good lunch place with salads, Burgers and a decent selection of fish. One of the better places for casual lunch or dinner in Fort Lauderdale.

Pretty good food, and very good service.  A very handy option as a pre-theater meal.
