Had the pleasure of visiting this establishment just last night. $10 Burgers on Monday night.  You cannot, let me repeat myself, cannot go wrong with this place. First of all. The hostess was very very nice. The waitstaff great also. The food topnotch. We only had burgers, but let me tell you. If you're in Fort Lauderdale do not miss this place. I'm from NY so the food up North is very good also. The burgers were cooked spot on. Med as we like them. Fries were good, not greasy at all. we also had the fried pickles. First time ever, again very good. I had the Cuban burger excellent.

All in all very satisfied with this place. Do not miss it when you're in town.

Sat at the tables outside. Nice area to people watch
waitress was great. Food was delish. Burger was big, juicy, flavorful and unique. I had the "my burger" so I built a Kobe Beef, swiss and mushroom. I enjoyed every bite. 4 stars due to the letting a couple with a dog sit at the bar and very small beer on tap menu. I would go back for sure.

i was in town recently for business, and wasn't sure what to do for dinner.  en route to my hotel, a taxi drove by me with an ad on top for ROK:BRGR.  i'm always down for huge monstrousities, especially when the ad shows one with a fried egg and thick slices of bacon...!  =)
once i got to my hotel room, the first stop i make on my laptop is yelp.  an avg rating of 4 stars!  not bad!  place calls itself a "gastropub"; cool becuz i've never been to one.
i drive to "downtown" ft. lauderdale.  sad really.  from what i saw, only like 4 restaurants, and 3 bars (2 of which were closed).
this restaurant is relatively small (read: quaint/cozy) with a good atmosphere.
i was starting to build my own burger, when the bar-keep said "our signature burgers are all only $10 tonite!  even the King James! (which claims to be made with american "kobe" wagyu beef)  as soon as I heard the $10 pitch, i was sold, because my custom burger would've set me back around $18.
i ordered the King James cooked medium, and when it was delivered, it looked absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!!  one bite into the behemoth and juice poured all down my left hand.  W-O-W.  total flavor country.
HOWEVER, it all went downhill from there.  turns out, the rest of the burger was cooked WELL DONE and therefore dry as hell.  damn it!!!  i was so freakin' hungry, that there was no way i was gonna send it back.
this burger had SO MUCH potential!!!  had they actually cooked it like i wanted, i would've given this place 5 stars.  this issue with over-cooking the burger seems repetitive through many other yelp reviews.
wagyu beef my ass.  if wagyu beef is ground chuck from walmart, then they nailed it.  total bullshit.

    Dear ROK:BRGR mgmt,
hire new cooks!!!  how hard can it be to cook a beef patty?!?!?  if you do it day-in and day-out for a living, you should NEVER mess this up!  the rest of the burger is assembly work!  good lord!!  also, there's this concept i wanna share with you- it's called "seasoning the meat while cooking it".  pls try it, since my burger (meat by itself) was bland as hell.

anyway, the fries lived up to expectations, and were incredibly delish.

if you see their ads, and are drawn-in by the same burger i saw (in the ad), order the "Morning Glory".  upon receiving your order, the first thing you should do is cut it in half, and make sure it's cooked to order.
    good luck.
    it's a damn shame they screwed-up a simple burger.
