Jannus Live

Great live music venue with great food (oysters!!).  They really need to fix the sound system, it's been really terrible for all of the shows we've been to in the last couple years.

A wonderful place to see a live show outdoors. On a nice summer evening, what can be better than listening to your favorite tunes live with a cold drink in your hand? Ah ...

This place holds both free and ticketed concerts.  It is a nice outdoor venue where you stand in a crowd and rock out.  I've never been to an actual concert and have only gone when they've had free shows, so that is what my review is based on.

There is an outside bar and outside bathroom.  The bathroom does not have many stalls, so don't wait till you really need to use it, in case there is a line.

There is a deck with a railing that is nice to lean against if you get tired, since it is standing room only.  Even though everyone is standing, the stage is raised enough that you can see whoever is performing.  

They really do have all types of performances here.  It's nice on nights that they have free shows and you can wander over from wherever you started your night to get your groove on for a bit.  It is honestly difficult to figure out on any given night if you need a ticket to get in, so just go ask the guy stamping hands.  

This isn't a large venue by any means, but it can fit a decent number of people.  Remember, it is outdoors so if it is raining, I would suggest going elsewhere.
