Sake Bomb popped my Sake cherry. It wasn't a profound experience, but we had a good time. Â My husband and I had a couple drinks while watching an old Japanese robot/monster movie. We were in our own happy little world. We were also anxious to play Pac-man, but the game was occupied the whole time!
The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The whole bar was pretty clean, and kept cool. Â There was a lot of nice local artwork on display. Â It wasn't packed the night we went, which is a plus in my book. The DJ was just starting about the time we moved on to the next bar. Â It made a great place to chill and drink together on our night out.
Fun and different bar with cool vibe. Â They always have a DJ or live music on the weekends and promote everything on their FB page.
They are a true bar, no food that I saw . . . they are known for their Sake Bombs which is sake in a shot glass dropped into a beer. Â In addition they have other beers, sake and as noted by another Yelper they have hard cider too.
Looking for something on a Fri or Sat night this is a little up Central, but worth wondering too.
Enjoy!
The locations is just perfect! Â More space, but it still has a cool friendly vibe and the music always gives me flash backs to high school! They have great prices on all kinds of beer and of course Sake flavors galore. Â I personally enjoy hard ciders, which they also stock. Â
You can watch sporting events on the tv, listen to live bands and hang out with quite an eclectic crowd. Â Their facebook page is a good way to find out about their themes parties!
