Bar food is good, shrimp dinner kicked ass. Â The owner Jim is a real friendly guy. It's a nice local hang out to let loose and sing some kereokee every once in a while. The bartenders are friendly and go above and beyond to make me and my girlfriend feel welcome and comfortable. One of our regular hang outs and always a good ole faithful place to pop back into.
Review Source:We had a coupon from the Golden Opportunity book and thought we'd give them a try..
the place was crowded.. only 2 tables open when we got there. Â Only 2 waitresses on duty...
took 15 minutes for the server to take out order..
another 20! minutes for quesadillas..which should only take 6 or 7 minutes!! Had to ask for a manager who finally brought them out to us.. said our order came in behind a 12 top table in the bar.. Really??! I didn't see any table in the bar!!
Waitress says they have a hard time making quesadillas.... REALLY??! WHAT THE HELL IS SOOOO HARD ABOUT PUTTING CHEESE ON A TORTILLA THEN ANOTHER ONE AND HEATING IT??!
we had the Friday Fish Fry, which was very good...
overall , the food was very good.. since we have the monthly coupon, we'll probably try them again.. hope the service is better!!
Surprising! Just looking for a cheap family dinner with one picky kid, one bottomless pit kid, & a mom trying for kind of healthy. Picked at random. Small and plain looking diner atmosphere but really solid food. Fresh homemade flavors and good prices. We had wings, pulled pork sandwich, chicken strips (they were home made!) and a Cobb salad. All really good. Try the round fries. I will definitely go back for some of the great weeknight specials.
