Java Jungle Vino

This place is extremely cute and I love how warm and welcoming this place is...I love the concept and wish they had one in Vegas.

I only went for breakfast and had the Mexican Mocha, which was YUMMY!  I wish I had more time to stay and linger.  This is definitely a place I will come back and try in the evening time!  Next time my rating will be five stars for sure if evening is similar to morning.

Visited on a mildly busy afternoon, still room at the bar and enough empty tables. Ordered 4 common mixed drinks-these took four times as long to make as they did to drink & came in small bar glasses-to the tune of $26.00. Did I mention 3 of the drinks were the same?....ah well, at least they tasted good. :)

As a regular bar this is fine, but it's not exactly a wine bar.  The staff have very little knowledge about the wines and I'm pretty sure they haven't tasted half of them.  Compare that to Midtown and West St Wine Bars where you often have the owner there who knows everything about all the wines or even an employee that is very knowledgeable.  I hear they just take Vino Jungle employees when they turn 21 and send them over to Jungle Vino.  And you guessed it, they act like baristas.  Here's your drink thanks, bye.  They have NO personality and don't interact with customers unless you're they're hipster buddies who sit at the bar all night drinking cheap beer and getting free shots and generally acting like drunks.  It's nice to have friends and sit in the cramped front area and share a bottle or just hang out.  If you just want a beer, this bar is fine, but if you want wine, I'd suggest Midtown or W St Wine or even Whispering Vine or Napa Sonoma.  The crowd is mostly young, hipster and they just drink cheap beer all night.  If I wanted that, I'd go next door to THe Bar where I can at least play pool or talk to the bartender who doesn't act like a hipster barista.  I appreciate the local art on the wall though.
