i've been coming here for a few years now, and i don't have a strong feeling, positive or negative.  basically, you have to go a few times to find out which items you like.  Individual preferences really vary on comfort food: there are freshly-made items (some good, some from recipes that aren't what i was looking for), pre-made (frozen, canned) items that you might like, and pre-made items that you might not like.

Cole slaw, for example, is the usual soggy sugary vinegar puddle.  the deep-fried items like seafood, onion rings, and hash browns are from frozen but well-executed and exactly what i'd hope for.  the regular coffee tastes bad, but the flavored is pretty good.  the hot tea is horrible.  iced coffee & tea are good.  i appreciate that they always have a full assortment of sweeteners stocked at each table.

before new management and namechange, there was an option to have real maple syrup on your pancakes; that was really good and i miss it.  sad to let go of that.  the tzatziki is way too runny and acidic, like a vinaigrette.  it should be thick, creamy, all about the yogurt, cucumber, and garlic.

service has improved over the last few years.  sometimes you get a waitress who really overdoes it on the "hon" and "sweetie" crap, which kind of makes my skin crawl; but service is usually attentive and efficient.

the desserts are very good.  italian lemon cake in particular.  a one-time visit will likely be hit-or-miss, depending on your preferences.  when they're good, they're very good!

    UPDATE!!!
I went here for breakfast the other day and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Knowing that they are usually fast and I needed a quick breakfast I dropped in.  When the rest of my party got their breakfasts the waitress told me that she thinks they burned my waffle and it will be out.  Another 10 minutes passes and she says they burned it again and do I want something else.  My friends were eating slow trying to wait for me, but were already done with their breakfast.  I told her I would have a muffin and that because of the inconvenience it should be on the house and all she had to say was "Do you know where you are?"  A couple minutes later she came over with the waffle which looked quite uncooked (opposite of burned for sure?!?).  She said if I ate it she would have to charge me for it (even after it took 15 minutes after the rest of my friend's food was delivered, 35 minutes after I ordered it) so I told her I did not want it.  She took it off the bill but refused to take the drink off my bill (once again asked if we 'know where you are') even though the reason I ordered the drink was to go with my food!!
Was told there was no manager available so I will be going back to talk to the manager, but not to eat there again.
I have been here countless times and never had much of a complaint, but after this experience all I can say is DON'T GO HERE! The service has gone downhill and become a restaurant where even the waitresses don't have faith in the place.

Jimmy K's is a good lunch spot.  It's got decent prices, good food, and we had a very friendly server.  Even the tables are spacious and there's been no attempt to cram the place with as many tables as possible.  Many of the patrons seem to be regulars and it's not hard to understand why.  I'm surprised that this restaurant wasn't busier at lunchtime but I was really glad because it was very relaxed.

Living nearby, this has become my go to restaurant.  Open 7 days a week from 6A - 9P you can always get a great meal anytime of the day.  The breakfast menu is quite extensive and can be ordered throughout the day.  Lunch and dinner menus are quite basic but really good.  Specials are available each day.  They serve hand made potato chips as a side which are to die for.  I have never had a bad meal here and I go quite often.  The waitstaff are friendly and take good care of all their diners.  Great place to go for a good solid meal anytime of the day.

This place is FANTASTIC!!  There's plenty to choose from on the menu and the food is always delicious. Huge portions for very affordable prices. Always fast & friendly service. Spacious, simple, clean & comfy. Easy parking. And it's usually got a busy breakfast crowd but we've almost always been seated immediately. Wait staff is very attentive & helpful yet not overbearing. This is my kinda joint. Casual, cheap, friendly & delicious! I was so bummed when I moved out of the area, but I've made several special trips back just to go here. Totally worth it!!

Solid breakfast place, with an array of breakfast items.  Jimmy K certainly knows where it lives because there are beans (thank you, Boston!) and steak tips even on the early morning menu.

You can tell that there are a lot of regulars mixed in here.  50's diner-style stools line the L-shape counter.  Same vintage patrons hunker over heavy coffee mugs, deep in conversation.

A place cannot be bad if it lets you order one (1) pancake.  You can do that here for $2.25.

Since this resto is in a strip mall near the road, it's also easy to Pawk you-are Cahr.   Very Nice.

This is a great spot, reasonably priced, good quality  food and terrific service.  The staff is friendly and funny! After a few visit they know what kind of drink you prefer and bring to the table once you are seated.
It's a spot where you keep comming back too!

Good solid diner experience. I'll be back.

The coffee was not very tasty, but definitely caffeinated, improved greatly by lots of mini-moos and sugar.
Very good hash - lots of crispy bits.
The beans at Groveland Diner are better, here they are fine and standard.

Bustling and clean, with a nice long bar for perching and viewing the local parade.

went there this morning and i must say i kinda like this spot.

the corned beef hash was decent, although i did ask for it to be Very Well Done and it came still too underdone for me. the eggs were very fresh with deep yellow yolks and the toast was actually toasted. home fires were pretty standard as were the baked beans. my only real complaint was that they seem to use cheap orange juice.

oh, and there's a waitress there with a hysterical laugh, trust me, when you hear it you'll know what i mean.
