I love this place. It's not just being called "hookers" by the friendly staff, or the joy of their deadpan stares when you ask "Anything new on the menu?" it's also the daily specials. Here's some examples...

1. Drunk girl dancing by herself in the corner night is always a favorite
2. Drunk guys start at the punching machine, then ripping off their shirts to compare muscles and then inevitbaly getting into a fight night
3. Mitch was so loud last night night.
4. Karaoke night - "Oooh....I wonder if anyone is going to sing George Michael?" "What?! Opera? Booo opera! You suck!"
5. Burnt pizza night. It's round, it's drowned, and it's...brown.
6. Do you have _____(things on the menu or advertised drinks) night?
7. No it's Monday, we're always out of Jaeger on Monday MONDAYS.
8. I would say gun day, but every day is gun day at Joes!
9. Slap you with turkey night, also sometimes known as ice in cleavage night, or soda water from the gun night. What can I say? They make it rain at Joes.
10. At an otherwise empty bar there are thirty people standing around one corner of the bar night.

Stopped by on a Saturday with some friends and definitely would not put this at the top of my "must go to again!" list. Â I wasn't really feeling the atmosphere or the crowd. Â It seems more like a locals joint; everyone seemed to know each other. Â You can play darts or pool and there is a small area that can be used as a dance floor. Â Unfortunately the bathroom was a bit of a mess and toliet paper was all over the floor. Â On the plus side, bartenders were friendly, fast, and pour stiff drinks.

Joes is a friendly bar with insanely friendly bar tenders that want to make you their friends. I moved here two years ago and joes is my new place "where everyone knows your name". Hope, Ryan, Lauren, and jersey....make it amazing to get your drinks! John in the kitchen makes your food experience one to remember! All great people with a feel to remember! In the end each one was invited to my wedding because of how amazing they are!!! I love joes for more than just beer and food!

The bar used to be fun until the management changed over. Now the food is okay, the people are a bit strange and the drinks are a bit overpriced for this type of establishment. All in all, I won't be coming here near as much as I used to.

This is a first for me. Â I find it almost impossible to get an accurate feel for a customer service type environment on a first visit, but I feel that I should share my very first experience at Joes Grill. I arrived at 11:45 pm. Upon arrival I was totally feeling the vibe of the establishment. The bartender was quick, friendly, and attentive. Everything that I would expect from a bartender. At 2:40 I decided to drop a dollar in the jukebox to play 2 songs to end my game of pool and to end my night. Come to find out the audio for the entire bar was completely shut off. I think to myself "big deal, maybe the staff wants to get home at a decent time tonight". I am not gonna stress over a dollar. At 3:08 I hear Ryan behind the bar screaming " Come pay your tabs and go home to your wh*re moms and h**ker wives. My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 3 months ago, non curable. I have less than a year to spend with her so you can see how this rubs me the wrong way. He continues to scream innapropriate things about everyones mothers for the next 5 minutes. At this time I was completely over it. I payed my tab, pulled Ryan asside and gently explained my dissatisfaction with his attitude. It was hard to take his apology as a sincere gesture beings he was so intoxicated from taking multiple shots with the guests. Needless to say, I will never return to a Joes grill ever again. All it took was 3 drinks and a game of pool to realize that this is the worst establishment I had ever been to.
