After a grueling workout with a trainer, I had plans to meet up one of my all time favorite guys who just moved back to the Atlanta area after a dreadful few years in Statesboro. He's been here a couple times and really wanted to take me here. So, despite the drive, I decided to cater to him this time rather than it usually being the other way around. I was starving so I ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo. I'm personally not a fan of Alfredo but I was really craving pasta so I just went with my stomach than my head lol.
It was pretty good. I like the way the chicken was seasoned but wasn't too fond on the dryness of it. However, still a satisfying meal, despite me not being much of an Alfredo type of gal. Pretty alright place. Nothing great overall and nothing bad, so it's A-OK.
Great beer choices Â
Menu with lots of choices.
Decent live music.
A bar scene that seemed like a good mix of regulars and people waiting for tables.
Lots of TVs plus signs saying that they show soccer and rugby matches. WOOHOO.
I would definitely go back if I was out and about in this part of East Cobb on a weekend night.
Honestly, we go here about once a week because it's close and they have decent beer. Not cheap, but decent. About once a month, they're out of some beer I order. The bookmaker sammy is great, but not cheap-- even the plain grilled cheese is $8. The chips and cheese dip: the cheese dip is great, but only served with approx 9 chips. If you get your waitresses attention, you can get more chips-- sometimes they're deep-fried, greasy and soggy, and sometimes they're nuked. Tonight we had a *really* hard time. We stood by the door over 5 minutes before even seeing an employee. We ordered 2 beers and the cheese dip. One beer was out. Over 10 minutes to get 2 beers. Our cheese dip was fine, but it took about 15 minutes to get more chips. --Hard to fault the *one* waitress they had, when there was about 20 customers in the place. We watched some guy in a Keegan's shirt walk past us several times texting on a phone (I thought maybe he was a manager?), but not helping the waitress out or noticing we were out of food. I always walked by the "85" rating they had from the food inspector and said, "but they're close". --Time to re-think that. Yuck.
