After a grueling workout with a trainer, I had plans to meet up one of my all time favorite guys who just moved back to the Atlanta area after a dreadful few years in Statesboro. He's been here a couple times and really wanted to take me here. So, despite the drive, I decided to cater to him this time rather than it usually being the other way around. I was starving so I ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo. I'm personally not a fan of Alfredo but I was really craving pasta so I just went with my stomach than my head lol.

It was pretty good. I like the way the chicken was seasoned but wasn't too fond on the dryness of it. However, still a satisfying meal, despite me not being much of an Alfredo type of gal. Pretty alright place. Nothing great overall and nothing bad, so it's A-OK.

    Great beer choices
    Menu with lots of choices.
    Decent live music.
A bar scene that seemed like a good mix of regulars and people waiting for tables.
Lots of TVs plus signs saying that they show soccer and rugby matches. WOOHOO.
I would definitely go back if I was out and about in this part of East Cobb on a weekend night.

Honestly, we go here about once a week because it's close and they have decent beer. Not cheap, but decent. About once a month, they're out of some beer I order. The bookmaker sammy is great, but not cheap-- even the plain grilled cheese is $8. The chips and cheese dip: the cheese dip is great, but only served with approx 9 chips. If you get your waitresses attention, you can get more chips-- sometimes they're deep-fried, greasy and soggy, and sometimes they're nuked. Tonight we had a *really* hard time. We stood by the door over 5 minutes before even seeing an employee. We ordered 2 beers and the cheese dip. One beer was out. Over 10 minutes to get 2 beers. Our cheese dip was fine, but it took about 15 minutes to get more chips. --Hard to fault the *one* waitress they had, when there was about 20 customers in the place. We watched some guy in a Keegan's shirt walk past us several times texting on a phone (I thought maybe he was a manager?), but not helping the waitress out or noticing we were out of food. I always walked by the "85" rating they had from the food inspector and said, "but they're close". --Time to re-think that. Yuck.

I have been going here regularly for the last six months or so and highly recommend Keegan's if you want a place to sit at the bar, drink some good quality beers, and have a good meal.  Their bartending staff for the most part is friendly and attentive and will greet you by name.  I do not go here to sit down at a table for dinner so cannot speak to the service there.  They have become extremely popular lately on weekends so if you want a place to sit you may need to get there early.

I like their craft beer selection which includes Hopsecutioner, Red Hare Watership Brown, and Left Hand Milk Stout, among my favorites.  It seemed they were rotating their drafts a little more frequently previously, though I may be mistaken on this.  My only quibble is that I would like to see a couple more drafts rotated more frequently so there is more to try for the regulars

Their food is much higher quality than what I have gotten at other pub style restaurants in the area.  I highly recommend their spring rolls as an appetizer, the fish and chips, their burgers, pot roast, and their club sandwich.

ok, so I knew about meehans, but keegans is a bit more friendly and cozy. i think the ffod is better and the waitresses are nicer too.
I started working in the area recently, and have been looking for a place that i can do 2 things, drink beer, and have a good time with coworkers and friends.
NAILED IT, good music, fun times, good food, lots and lots of bacon, and close to home and work. I wil lbe spending my evenings here more often.

Food is good, but the service is just ok. Definitely the typical Northside place with a lot of families.  This place seems to attract the soccer crowd, and I see a lot of youth and adult teams meeting up here after games.

Let me start by saying that the first few times I went it was fantastic.  The food and the service were both great.  The kind of atmosphere I like when I want to unwind after a long week.  Now the last three times I have been there are children present.  I know they are listed as kid friendly but when you go 4 or 5 times and don't see any kids and you are under the assumption that an Irish Pub is a BAR you think you are in the clear from having to deal with kids for the night.  Each time we go now there are more and more kids, in fact there were 2 kids sitting at the bar while their parents stood behind them drinking and other ADULT patrons could not sit down at the bar to get a drink.  Some how that sounds illegal for children to be sitting at the bar even if they are allowed inside.  I went this Friday night and there was an entire girls high school soccer team running around the place screaming like only teenage girls can do.  It was highly annoying so we left...that basically was the catalyst for a very crappy night.  People leave the few bars we have in East Cobb for the adults if you can't leave the kids at home or get a baby sitter maybe you should take them to O'Charleys and lay off the booze or just stay home.  There are more appropriate places to take kids than an Irish Pub. I know it may sound like I don't like kids but that is not the case at all....I have three of my own but I don't think that they should be in a bar with me or other people that are drinking.  I take them to places that they should go and when I get the few opportunities to go out for grown up time with my friends I don't need kids around especially when there are just a few options in our area but I guess Keegan's is not longer one of those options (not even with my kids)

Who would have thought that the shithole that was O'Shaughnessy's  could be turned into this place!  Of course, when you think about  Keegan's in West Cobb, you know that this is going to be a quality operation and a perfect place for a proper pint.

We stopped in for quick bite and shared the sampler plate.  The Irish Spring Rolls were scrumptious.  The wings were great but beware, if you order them hot, they are going to be hot-  no pussyfooting around!

My only complaint was that the sliders were a little dry.

Service at the bar was flawless!  We are delighted to have this Keegans open up in an area that is on our beaten path!!!

I've been here on numerous occasions and it has become a new favorite for me. I have tried over a dozen different food items from appetizers to specials and must say I have only been slightly disappointed with one of them. The Irish egg rolls and the fish tacos are awesome and if you happen to go there and the Scallop Po' Boy is the special get it! Last but not least who can deny a place that has 20 oz Miller Lite and Killian's draught every day of the week!!!!

    Wow, Where do I begin,
Been there twice before and had always been pleasantly surprised by the service and food, for the neighborhood that is, a comfortable ambience, quaint seating and a more than friendly bartender named Mark who has always been more than gracious in his etiquette, WELL MY OPINION CHANGED RATHER DRAMATICALLY OVER A MONDAY NIGHT'S VISIT as I was rudely and irrationally harassed by two patrons who felt the need to make their hatred for my beloved team make knowN.  As I continued to ignore their rather ignorant and rude remarks over the duration of the night, I felt less and less at ease and proceeded to to the bathroom at which point  one of the aforementioned patrons felt the need to grab my shirt and spit talk in my face... as a well mannered gentleman I decided to quietly walk away from the incident only to be harassed for the next hour and finally be approached by a less than friendly gentleman friend of the previous assailant.  He in turn reminded me of every reason why not to return to such an establishment  as he rambled on about his less then civil abilities to settle an argument.  As I continued to smile under my breath, I had to remind myself of the very standards of which I hold myself to in conducting business in this hospitality industry and thanked my previous employers for instilling in me a touch of class.  BEST OF LUCK KEEGAN'S.

Decent pub food. Cape Cod Reuben was good. Would like to see them go all-in on Irish/English pub food. Why tacos?
