I really like Kiku. A lot of people rave about Osaka, but I honestly think Kiku is better.
The service feels personal. The staff are always so nice. I've eaten at the sushi bar and at the Hibachi grill. Both experiences positive. I really enjoyed their zombie roll. Hibachi was also very good. Nicely cooked steak and salmon. Ginger dressing for their salads is fairly watery.
Excellent food, good service--Thumbs up for Kiku.
The placed looked closed except for the blinking open sign in the door. The front "garden" strips were full of tall weeds. We were the only customers at 7:30pm but a family arrived just before we left. I had a specialty sushi roll that was quite good and my husband had the New York steak which came oriental style. He said it was good. I was a little hesitant to order sushi when there was no one else in the place (had they all died off?). All was well and I had a nice sushi roll for my dinner.
Review Source:My wife, 4 yr old went here on a Saturday night for mothers day. 90% of the space is for Hibachi but they are moving to a different location soon. The food is just like any other Japanese Hibachi restaurant. Soup and salad served before the meal. Â I feel like you get less food for the same price as Osaka. Osaka has a better environment as well. Overall decent. Nothing will wow you.
