Kilroys Pub

Me and a friend Went To Kilroys to enjoy a burger and a beer with some onion strings. we walked in and a young blond waitress cleaned the table and told us she would be right with us. The young blond walked past us several times after and never offered us a menu a beer or anything. there were two waitress and only two tables so it was not that they were busy we were deliberiately ignored. After 45 minutes of being completely ignored my friend went to the bartender who after an additional 15 mins sent us  an older waitress finally took our order. For whatever reason the young blond chick who works there specifically went out of her way in an effort to deny us service. after we were served and ate the young blond asked if she could take my empty glass. The service we received there was completely unacceptable and I would be very weary of having the young blond working there if I  owned this pub. The pub was not busy for a Saturday night and there was no customers there that were particulary striking or attractive. bad Service no hot chicks the food was good and the bartender was doing a good job but the young blond chick literally ruined service for us. Hopefully she will personally get to read this be aware that cellphones and computers are everywhere and she won't get away with treating customers in this fashion.

I'm aware that this place gets a bad rap for being that typical spot where people who can't get over the glory years of high school seem to congregate.  That may be true to an extent, but I love this place.  Maybe it's because one of my best friends lives a few blocks away, making Kilroy's convenient and walkable, but I always seem to find myself here when I'm visiting home.

For starters, the beer is CHEAP and cold.  Honestly, you can get a GIANT mug (~36 oz?) of Bud Light for $3--insane!  I don't think I've ever paid over $4 for a beer here, and they always have a pretty good selection, including an assortment of craft brews from 3 Floyds.  The cocktails are also super cheap, and the bartender there makes some of the most aggressive drinks this side of frat-tastic jungle juice.  Said bartender is also super nice and friendly, which is always a plus.

As for the food, I've never strayed away from the buffalo chicken sandwich.  It's incredible.  No, it's super mega delicious--the best buffalo chicken sandwich that I've had.  I've also heard the burgers are good, but I've never tried one.  BIg menu, really solid bar food.  

If you think you are too cool for Kilroy's, get over yourself and check it out.  I can assure that you will find yourself having a good time.

Freakishly friendly! Honest! The staff, the patrons, everybody! Excellent prices, excellent service, excellent food...an EXCELLENT experience.
