Kopper Kettle Cafe

I'm sad to see all the bad reviews here.  Kopper Kettle used to be THE place in Chester for breakfast.  I remember those huge plates of biscuits and sausage gravy and big pancakes. Tasty!

This is a perfectly fine place to go to get a pretty typical diner breakfast.

We stopped by for breakfast before heading out to Lassen Park for the day. The service was a little on the slow side, but not the sort of "get up and leave" slowness.  Prices were a bit higher than I'd expect, especially since there wasn't anything particularly special about the place or the menu.

It's standard diner fare. A few eggs here. Some hash browns there.  The coffee has a hint of a coffee flavor to it. In my opinion, the portions were too big, making me think it was a shame to pay a little more for diner food, only to throw a good bit of it away.

All in all, it put fuel in us as we headed to the park, so no real complaints, but no real compliments either.

What a fall from grace...this place used to be great...now it is disgustingly gross and the service sucks. Don't know if it is new owners or what happened but it is not what it used to be!
