Unauthentic, extremely sub-par food. Horrible service. My parents went here last night for dinner. When going to order fajitas, they asked if there was a price difference between the 'rolled' fajitas and the sizzling fajitas, to which the server responded, "no". Not entirely sure what 'rolled' fajitas were (a burrito?), my parents decided to order the standard sizzling fajitas. Upon receiving the fajitas, they were thoroughly disgusted. Both the chicken and beef fajitas came glazed in teriyaki sauce...at a 'Mexican' restaurant. Needless to say, both of them took a few bites and were unable to come close to finishing their disgusting meals. To top off their already horrendous experience, the bill came out and the sizzling fajitas were charged at an extra $1.55 (each) than the listed price. When my parents called out the server on her previously telling them that there was no price difference, she responded by saying, "Oh well," and took my father's credit card anyway with no further discussion. As one might expect, she did not receive a tip last night...

We happened to be traveling through Chester (Sunday) and decided to stop for a late lunch. Our only choices were the Pizza Factory, the Copper Kettle, Subway and Mi Casita. We chose Mi Casita, much to our regret.  I understand that it is off season and Chester is a very small town, but we found the food to be almost completely inedible - certainly it is not "authentic" Mexican food as we know it. The waitress was cheerful and the interior was attractive. I was a little taken aback that all the tables already had baskets of chips on them (only one other table was occupied at the time we were there) just sitting and waiting for someone to be seated there, We were presented with two bowls of salsa - mild  and spicy. The mild salsa tasted like simple, semi-pureed canned tomatoes. Nothing else  - nothing fresh. The spicy version seemed to be the same as the mild but with some sliced jalapenos and onions in it - no other discernible seasonings. Commercial jarred salsa would have been far better! I wanted to leave at that point but we had already received our drinks and our eight year old was hungry so we stayed and ordered. We ordered the chicken chimichanga, the chili verde burrito, and the chicken strips from the kid's menu (no Mexican items on the kids' menu). The chimichanga came with rice and beans. The rice tasted like it had been cooked in the salsa - it had that same sour, canned flavor. It was also cold on the plate. The beans were bland, but at least warmer, though the small amount of cheese sprinkled on top never melted. The tortilla of the chimichanga was softly fried - not deep fried, and it wasn't greasy at all, so I was hoping that the good news would continue. It didn't. The chicken was evidently cooked in the same canned flavors of the salsa.  I think I ate about 1/3 of it. My husbands burrito was HUGE, swimming in a pool of green sauce and bland, bland, bland. He ate about four bites. The food here is just awful. Though the waitress was nice, not once did she ask if there was a problem when it was obvious that we weren't eating the food. The best part of the meal were the Andes mints that came with the check. Avoid this place if you don't want to waste your money.

My mom and I had dinner here while in Chester. Place was cozy and we got sat right away and got chips and salsa right away. The chips were whatever and the salsa wasn't spicy. Service was good, but I wish the water glasses came in adult sizes.

We found out the margaritas are wine mixers on not tequila. Wish we would have known that before coming! I believe the other mexico food place in town has a full bar!

I got a chicken, bean, and cheese burrito. A very basic order and it was perfect. It was like a burrito I would make at home for myself. In that respects it was great and just what I wanted. The size was great. My mom also liked her food as well. It wasn't like amazing "oh my god" good, but it was good.

Made out pretty good on the bill as well. Very casual place. The ladies that worked there sat at the booth behind us and talked the whole time. It was a little awkward but I think that's how they roll in Chester.

I would come again for a good hardy meal, but I'm heading somewhere else for a good margarita!
