La Catedral Cafe & Restaurant

I love this place.  I live nearby and go there to work, using my laptop and the wifi.  I always get wonderful service - plenty of coffee, just enough but not too much attention.  I've also dined here several times.  For a Caucasian, I think the food is usually not quite what you expect, but it's always good (I've only had the vegetarian things, usually breakfast).  It is a gem, and if you need a nice place to go in this neighborhood, definitely try La Catedral Cafe.

Love this place!! A nice departure from the million other taco joints in the neighborhood. About the neighborhood yes it is the ghetto. I live here so I can say that. (but I have never had a problem there). Staff is friendly. Food is good. Coffee good, Free wi-fi or you can pay to use their computers. I would say its a little pricey for the hood considering  you can get cheap mexican food anywhere on 26th street but they have crepes and paninis which you cant really find in Little Village. I used the yelp coupon $10 for $20 worth of food and we had a feast.

I like their muffins...
