This is the place where the chicago Police Officer had allegedly beat an autistic boy. I started going here because I wanted to support the family, by spending a little money. Thru the few weeks that I was eating there, I really enjoyed their Gyros, as they werent as the other reviewer said. They were meaty and they were just good!!!

Thru the weeks I met the boy that was suppossedly beaten and what i saw, changed my mind as to what happened. The boy is VERY mean and has a really bad aditude. So before people feel sorry, they should meet that boy and they will see that chances are, he lipped off and started a commotion with the police.

They have another son I guess, this one is a gangbanger. He was working saturday evening around 730-8pm. I ordereed, and watched the gangbanger take money and make change from the register for another customer. He then turned around and started making food. I said hey dude, you have to wash your hands before touching food. Mr gangbanger said, if you dont like the way I cook, you can just leave. ( I had been gong there 3-4 times a week, and never saw him there before)

I called his dad over and said to him, thats a great way to loose customers, as his gangbanger was lipping off and creating a rucus. I shook my head and figure this is the way the whole family is, and since they raise kids like this, they arent responsible parents. I stepped outside and filed a report with 311 for the city's health department. ( I am certified in sanitation and also gave the city MY licence number, to make it worse on them)  

If you dont mind germs and gangbangers, then this is your spot. Seeing this and how it was handled, I felt it was appropiate to let everyone know about this place so noone gets sick. Obviously they dont care about their customers enough to enforce health code!

If they shirk on a simple responsibility like hand washing, then think, what else do they cut corners on..........?

Loved this place.  Comfortable and friendly.  Love the food.  Great small price for large quantities.  The staff is so nice they treat you like one of their own.  Love the fast service and everything is cooked fresh upon ordering.  Specialties include gyros and hamburgers but the pizza is amazing
