MMMmmm their salsa is so good it makes you wanna drink it out of the molcajete. Seriously it's my favorite.. I can just eat their chips and salsa as a meal and be happy. I don't because then my GERD will unleash it'd unholy wrath upon me and that's no fun. :/ According to the signs everywhere, the chicken is the way to go so there I went. I had 1/4 of the char-broiled chicken w/ double rice (no beans) and salad. The chicken is juicy and not over-seasoned. I get my food to go so I can't comment on the waitresses.
It's terribly out of my way but I was in the neighborhood so I went back. This time I was in the mood for tacos. I had the steak tacos and luckily no cubes of fat. WIN! They' weren't huge but I had two and I felt comfortable. The price was decent $3-4. They didn't have Sidral on this particular visit so left kicking stones.
The place is kinda small but the decor is fun. They also have a parking lot right across the alley. The only downside is the location. The neighborhood tends to get kinda lonely in the night. If you live on the southside I suppose you can get delivery but if you're a northsider like me, plan on a day trip.
