I've only seen La Salsa in airport food courts before, so when I saw this one at the Purdue Student Union, I was taken aback. Â After perusing the other options there (most were closed because it was spring break), I settled on La Salsa.
To my surprise, the food was quite good. Â The tacos were good representations of authentic street-style tacos. Â The real star of La Salsa is the salsa bar of course. Â There are 4 different salsas to try along with several fixings (cilantro, diced onion, pickled carrots, etc.)
The price is reasonable ($5-7 per plate) and most entrees come with chips and black beans.
