  I love this place. Its been family owned for 2 generations. The owner george ran the bar until he was 94 and now his wife Lorraine, who is 91 and still kicking, and his daughter run the bar. its open Thursday-Saturday. This is the only place I know where you can get 3 dollar bottle beer all day long. They also make the best linguisa sandwiches. This bar is an old school bar and a fun place to watch a game.. listen to music, play some pool and have a drink. its a beer and wine bar but worth going in. it does have an older crowd but thats because the people that go there are great friends of the owners. its a place to go when you want to have a good time and not get hit on.

  This is a very unique old school bar dating back to the twenties.  Since its start it has only sold beer and wine (a limited selection) to keep people from getting rowdy and drunk.  What makes this such a wonderful place is how friendly all the old folks are.  You will feel like part of their family immediately.  We just chose this place by accident and we loved it.  This is old fashioned bar customer service.  I don't know how they would treat young people (my wife and I are seniors) or people of color (we're white and the place was all white people) but my sense is based on how welcoming they were that they would welcome you and you would learn about history, custom cars and hear a lot of interesting stories.  They serve some food.  They are only open from 11am to 7 or so on Friday and Saturday and if they feel like it on Wednesday.  We've been to a lot of bars and this place is unlike any other we've ever been to.  Check it out!
