Rancho Sports Bar

Just by looking at the place it doesn't seem very appealing.  My instincts always told me to stay away from the Rancho, especially on a Friday night!

Well, I'm hear to tell you all that, my instincts were wrong.  

Friday nights at Rancho is Karaoke night, and so far I've been there twice in the past 2 months. Each time, the crowd was really kewl.  Everyone friendly, mixed ages, mixed ethnicity's, all having a really good time.  

The Karaoke DJ has pretty much any song you can think of.    For those people, like myself, who has a passion for karaoke you'll really appreciate the sound quality. His equipment is top notch.  

I give the Karaoke DJ 5 stars, but only give the Rancho 4 stars.  

***Message to the owner, light up that sign in front, repaint the building, and bring in some beers on tap. Spend some money on your place, and young hip Yelpers like myself will come!!!

I go to the Rancho every Friday night for karaoke. They play good music, people get up and sing; It's an all around good time. The bartenders are friendly, they make excellent drinks at a cheap price. I can't imagine singing anywhere else on Friday besides the Rancho.

Karaoke at the Rancho Sports Bar in El Sobrante is ROCKING on Friday nights. I should know I'm the DJ. If you like Karaoke and want to perform like a star or just want to see others performing, this is the place to go. 9:30pm to close. All genres of music available.   Dancing is great fun too and is interlaced with the performers. Want to have a great time with your friends stop by the Rancho Sports Bar in El Sobrante.
